Warning: Slight Violence
Lucien POV
He sat in a darkly-lit room with a set of playing cards in front of him. The smell of smoke wafted from the rest of the older men sitting across from him. He laid out his playing hand with a smirk and announced, "Full House."
The other men groaned and proceeded to hand over the money they'd just lost, but one of them stood up in anger. It was obvious from his poorly dressed form that he was not nearly as rich as the rest of them there. He angrily pointed at Lucien.
"I came here because I was told that this was going to be easy pickings, not that I would get all of my money taken away from me!"
"Perhaps you're just a bad poker player." Lucien commented.
"I'm already bankrupt, I can't go deeper into debt! I have a family! This is shit!"
He pushed the chair away from him and started for the door. Lucien could see that Darcy was about to stop him, but he held his hand up. After the man left, he issued a command.
"Follow him. He's going to have a house visit soon."
Darcy nodded and slipped off outside. Lucien smiled at the other gentlemen and stood up.
"Well, men, I have some business to take off now. There's a debt to be paid."
The other men chuckled. They all knew what that meant. Lucien was going to take everything away from that man and more.
Darcy texted Lucien the home addresss, and from the darkness of the night, they left their car out on the street and knocked down the door.
Coincidentally, there was a teenage party going on next door, so no one even noticed the two men barging uninvited into a home.
There was a woman in there, along with two children. They'd been watching a child's movie. Lucien smiled cruelly. This would be their last movie night. The woman screamed, causing the man to to come from another room. He stopped abruptly when he Lucien. The fear was evident in his eyes. His wife saw his face and could tell that he'd gotten them in some major trouble.
"Charlie, what did you do?!" Her voice was shrill, and it was annoying Lucien. He aimed the gun at her face.
"Oh, my God." She was trembling with her children in her arms.
"Where's my money?" He turned back to the man.
"I told you. I don't have it!"
"Too bad." He aimed lower and pulled the trigger. It let off a loud bang that reverberated around the house. The little boy fell to the ground with a bullet in his arm. He cried out as he fell.
"Noo!!" The woman fell to the ground, weeping. She swept up her son in her arms. Charlie had a pained face. "How could you shoot him? He's just an innocent kid." He whispered it so softly that Lucien barely heard it.
"I don't have morals. I've hurt many, and I will hurt more." He twisted around to aim at Charlie and paused when the front door slammed open.
"Dad! Amy twisted her ankle, so we came back forom the party. Where's the--" She didn't finish her sentence. There were two teenage girls walking in. One of them was hanging onto the other's shoulder.
"Dad? Who's this?" She'd caught sight of the guns that he and Darcy were holding. "Were you involved with some mobsters?"
"Mobsters?" Lucien turned around to see her.
The girl gasped slightly and looked at him in fear.
"We're not mobsters, now that's just mean." He gave her a dangerous grin when he said that. "You've offended me."
The girl backed up slightly. Lucien turned back to Charlie. "The situation has changed. Instead of killing your whole family, I'll just take these two girls."
The woman looked up from her weeping stance and pointed shakily at Charlie. "This is all your fault! You're just a deadbeat husband! I don't know why I even married you!"
Her teary eyes turned to Lucien. "Please, Don't kill the children. Let the chidren go." She clutched at her other, unharmed son.
"Don't worry. They'll be taken care of." He tipped his head at Darcy, and he automatically shot Charlie and then the woman. The boy that had been in her hands grabbed at his brother, who was unconcious. Lucien smiled at them. They were pathetic.
The girls behind him shrieked when the gun went off both times.
"Get them." Darcy punched them both in the side of the head, rendering them unconcious. They were going to be a good addittion for his 'store'.
He turned back to the two little boys. The one that he'd shot was already going faint. Perhaps, he should get someone to do something about them. He stood there in deep thought until Darcy came back from putting the girls in the car and suggested, "How about getting Vail?"
"Yep." He snapped his fingers. "Good idea, Darcy."
He rang Vail's phone.
"What?" Vail's voice was sharp. He sounded so beautiful when he was angry. "Darling, will you come and pick up two little boys for me. I just need you to take are of them for a few days until we can get someone to train them."
Now that they had seen them, the two boys were going to be trianed to be Mafia boys. It was either that or killling them, and Lucien didn't want anymore of a mess to be cleaned up.
"Fine. Bring them to my apartment, Not Blade's."
"Of course, also, one of them has a bullet wound in his arm."
"Well, then, be quick!" He didn't seem surprised that Lucien had shot a little boy. That's what he loved about Vail. He was so nonjudgemental.
Vail POV
He opened his apartment door for Lucien and Darcy to enter. There were two unconcious boys being carried. One of them had a bullet wound in his right arm.
He grabbed the injured one and put him on the couch before cleansing the wound. "Put the other one in the guest room." Darcy grabbed the boy and lugged him into the hallway.
A pair of arms wrapped around his body when he turned around.
"Hey there."
Vail leaned forward and captured Lucien's lips with a kiss. Their tongues danced for dominance, and Vail quickly won. Lucien let his tongue venture into his mouth as they kissed gently. After a few minutes, Vail pulled away and out of his grasp.
"See? You do still love me."
Vail sighed. "No, I don't. You're just a good fuck. Okay? Get that in your head."
"Fine." Lucien twisted around and headed for the kitchen.
"You know that's why he still goes after you." A soft voice came from behind Vail as he was kneeling over the boy.
"I know, Darcy, but I've told him tons of times that what we have is not real."
"You need to stop playing with him." For some reason, his voice had gotten slightly angry with him. Vail turned around to stare at him. Darcy was the way he usually was. He seemed... jealous. He scoffed and smiled at him in disbelief.
"You like him." It wasn't a question. It was a statement. Darcy seemed surprised and a little taken back.
"No, I don't, but I actually care about him as a friend."
"Sure, you do. Alright, I'll stop playing with him. If only for your sake." He waved him off and fixed the boy up.
All the while, he kept a little smirk on his face.
