Look at this beautiful picture of observable universe. It's roughly 13.7 billion years old.
Sun is estimated to be 4.6 billion years old. And, our Earth's is 4.5 billion years.
Life has originated on this planet 3.5 billion years back and we, humans have evolved 66 million years ago.
Keeping all this in parallel to the average life span of a human being which is 70 years, human life is 0.0000005109 % of the universe's age and 0.00000155 % of the Earth's history (funny how we think that we're the most important creation ever on this planet).
In simple words,
This is Earth before your birth
This is Earth after your death
So, what exactly is the purpose of our existence?
A question which nested in my mind for years. Any answers?
