Hi guys! Thanks for clicking my short story.
National Geography and Wattpad teamed up to challenge authors to write and share a story about the affect of plastic on our oceans and the rest of the world...in 500 words or less. Waves is my first entry for the National Geographic #PlanetorPlastic writing contest. My work is completely fiction, but uses inspiration from the news and people that I've talked to. It's funny, I actually had a short story written that had some basic ideas of the things that I wanted to do for this contest, so I built off off that.
