    The wolf was slowly eating my math homework, and to my horror I realized the wolf was someone I recognized because it had icy blue eyes, but I still couldn't figure out who it was. On instinct, I chased away the wolf with anger and it ran towards the ominous forest that was filled with unknown creatures. The locals tell stories about this forest saying that every Halloween night, one person disappears without reason and they were never found by the police. Fearing these stories, I did not step foot into the menacing forest to get my revenge on the satanic wolf who tore my math homework apart. Although I feared the forest, I was horrified by what would happen if I didn't get my homework completed for Ms. Maie's class. I couldn't tell her that a wolf ate my homework because who would believe such a story!

    As I walked back into my house through the front door, I replayed each possible scenario in my head, thinking one of them would be acceptable for my tardiness. Walking up my creaky stairs, I began entering my eerie room. Then I paused at my door frame, I have found the perfect solution to my horrific situation. Leaping onto my fluffy bed, I pull out my Iphone 5 and message my friend to send me a picture of the math homework. She quickly replies to my message and I start to do the homework. Here and there, I procrastinate by going on my favourite entertainment apps.

    The next day, I enter my math class feeling at ease, as the stress from yesterday had faded away. After class, my friend approaches me and asks what happened to my homework. I told her bluntly that a wolf had almost devoured it. To my surprise, she didn't look confused nor surprised by what I said. Instead she shrugged and muttered in a monotone voice;
    "Weird things happen all the time."
    "Sure." I replied with noticeable tension in my voice.
    " How about we visit this wolf on Halloween night so we can have a thrilling adventure?" my friend asks with a spark of mischievous intentions. Thinking about it, I decided to go, although the stories told by locals sent an unpleasant chill down my spine.
    "Meet me at my house at 7 o'clock tomorrow night, okay?" I suggested.
    "Sounds good, see you then." She replied with a nod and headed back towards her locker. As the day ended, I took the bus home and did my usual routine.

    During the afternoon of Halloween day, I took the bus home and ate supper real fast so I had time to do my math homework that wasn't torn. It was now 6:50 p.m., when I finished my homework. I was so concentrated that I forgot to keep track of the time. in a hurry,I grabbed my nap sack and toss in a water bottle, some snacks, a sweater and most importantly, my phone. Ding! Dong! My friend was here.
    "Hey! Ready to go?" She asked with a hint of eagerness.
    "I guess so." I said as I closed the door behind me.

    When we arrived to the border of the forest, I started developing second thoughts. Maybe I should head home and we could watch a horror movie. Looking into the dark forest, I could hear my heart racing. My palms started to appear sweaty and my body was slightly shaking. a wave of uncertainty hit me. I shouldn't do this, I couldn't do this. The fear growing steadily in my mind made it hard to calm myself as the adrenaline inside of me flowed quickly. Faster than my mind could process, I ran as fast as I could back towards the route to my house. I turned around to shout to my friend to say I chickened out, but she was gone. Disappeared without a trace. Automatically, I sprinted even faster and asked myself, are the stories told by locals true? Was my friend abducted or did she enter the forest alone? Out of breath, I open the front door and lock it in a split second. Peeping out of the peep hole, I see the same wolf with icy blue eyes that tore my math homework, but tonight, he left a visible trail of blood behind as it walked away towards the mysterious forest.
