Nia: UGH Caden stop bugging me when I'm ready I'll let you know

Nia: Okayy , I have been thinking 2 more months of school maybe at the end of the last month I tell them

Coach: Davidson your getting better and better by next week you gonna have that track scholarship wrapped around your fingers

I went into the locker room and changed when I walked out I saw Jacob I turned on my heels and headed the other direction

Jacob: Wait Vani come back

he ran to catch up to me and we were walking side by side

Me: what do you want ?

Jacob: to talk

Me: so now you wanna talk?

Jacob: I know I was being a jerk I just didn't know how to talk to you

I stopped walking and so did he I looked at him

Me: after 2 months Jacob you could have knocked on my door call me text me something

I rolled my eyes and started walking again he grabbed my arm

I couldn't see any way out of this until I saw Mark

Jacob: Just go out with me tonight

Me: I can't I'm going somewhere with Mark

with that I swiftly moved away from him and ran next to Mark

Jacob: Mark you taking Vani out tonight?

I gave Mark a pleading look to play along

Mark: uh yea going to her house for while you know to chill
