Head Over Heels

Chapter 3

A/n this is all gonna be monologue style.

Raven are you sure you want me to tell the story. Yea and who better to tell the story than you.
Ok, well it all started three years ago on her birthday her mom died in a car wreck to his birthday.  She started beating himself up over it. She wound up cutting and I noticed her losing a lot of weight. I and she got close saying that I reminded her of her and soon after we got closer she started calling my her aunt. All of the life insurance went to her father and her father started abusing him after came out as trans saying that it was her fault his mom died. It was awful she would come in limping and bruised. On her birthday her father had people over who sexually assaulted her. She wound up killing her father in self-defense. ( I was starting to cry as Remington looked over at me and that made it worse but I stuck it out) the guys that were with her father attacked her to an inch of her life and I stopped by to see how she was doing like we planned and to give her the school work. Ravin was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. When she came too she was brought up on something about her being underweight and every scar on her. She told the police everything that happened about the beatings and the rape and about killing her father. After the investigation, they found the guys and pressed charges and the judge awarded him some money for it and after everything she was told how much money she would get out of the life insurance and the case. The schools thought I was getting to close so they transferred me to this school. She moved out here close to where I was and I stop by every once and while and she's doing better. But I hope no harm ever come to her anymore she's been through so much.

The tears were coming down hardcore.

"Holy shit man I had no clue."

"Your fine," I barely got out.

Mrs.A got up and hugged me and asked if she could stop by I agreed then Remington hugged me and I didn't know why but it felt right to hug him he also asked if he could come over.

"You know what let's get out of here and go to my place and I'll cook dinner," I suggested

"Let me call my mom and let her know."

With that, we all headed out to the parking lot. Mrs. Ashley got in her car and Remington followed me to my car.

"Holly shit this is your car!" He yelled.

I just shook my head yea and I unlocked the doors.

"Holy fuck it's nice in here."

"It was me and my mom's project, she loved cars. She wanted to put it to factory but I suggested that we put new age stuff in it like a touchscreen radio and electric window and locks.

Just then Beth pulled up.

"Are we going?"

I just shook my head yes and pulled out of the parking lot and drove thirty minutes to my house it's a pretty big house a 5 bed 2 1/2 bath in a nice neighborhood. But I got a bargain because no one wanted due to someone dying in the house so I bought it and just pay the mortgage, which is about 2 thousand a month. Which is no problem because due to my parents passing and the lawsuit I have about 1.5 million and I work at a good paying job. They even offered me a new job. I will be getting about $40 an hour working as a chemist at the lab when I get out of school. When we pulled up I opened the garage and let Beth pull in as well.

"How the hell do you afford this!" Remington asked

"Don't worry about and you ask a lot of questions."

We all walk in and hela came up to us and she instantly fell in love with Remington.

"Remington do you want to let her out in the backyard."

He looked so happy and he actually went out with her and played with her. It brought a smile to my face, I started cooking with Beth helping me. I was just gonna cook my mom's baked ziti. Before I did I need to find out it Remington was allergic to anything so I went outside.

"Remi, are you allergic to anything?"

"No." He said laughing and hela

I walked in and grabbed her treats and went back out and gave them to Remington, then getting back in to cook. After about an hour I finished and went to go get Remington but I found him and hela asleep outside in the backyard. She was cuddled up with him, I couldn't help my self so I took a picture because it was so cute. After the photo, I woke him up to let him know dinner was done. We walked back in and I set the table and brought food over for us.

"Ravin where did you learn to cook this is good."

"Idk I've always known how to cook and bake really well."

After food, Beth asked to speak with me. We went outside to talk and she knew I smoked, and that I never brought them to school. I lit up a cigarette.

"You like him don't you!"

"What!"

"You kept staring and you actually smiled due to him and it's not your normal smile, it's a truly happy smile."

"I don't know when he hugged me it felt natural."

"I could tell you were smiling and you kept staring at him at dinner."

Just then the door opened, Remington and hela came out.

"Whatcha talking about."

"Nothing," I say as quickly as I can.

"Well, I should be getting home," Beth announced.

I got up and gave her a hug. She then left out the door
