chapter one ♡

i feel myself start to tumble around in my bed, i was half asleep but for some reason i just couldnt fully wake myself up. i was having a night terror. i kept on tossing and turning then eventually i fall off of the bed and wake up startled.  'owhh, what the hell?' i whisper to myself as i go to check my phone, it read 6:28am, my alarm went off at 6:30, so i just turned it off...today is the first day of my new school in vancouver, carolel high.  i was so nervous..but, i was still excited.

i decided to get up and go into the bathroom and get ready.  i brush my teeth, hair and wash my face. i put on a light amount of makeup and went to pick out an outfit.

'i should of just picked one last night, im gonna be late.'

clock; 7:23am

school starts at 8 and you have to catch a bus...you dont wanna be late on your first day.

you quickly grabbed a blush pink top and mom jeans and threw on your white vans, and headed out the door just in time for your bus to pick you up.

there was a lot of students already on the bus. i couldnt sit in a seat without someone else in it..so i tried to find someome decent to sit with.

i go down the isle scanning the seats..when i came across a redhead girl sitting by herself reading a book, 'she looks friendly' i thought to myself. i tapped her shoulder and asked her for a seat.

'um, hey im y/n, mind if i sit?' you asked hoping for a positive response.

'yeah, sure!' the girl said reassuringly. you were happy she said yes, or you would of had to sit with a booger eating 9th grader.

you wanted to start a conversation, because it felt awkward.  you went to let out a greeting but was stopped by her before you even opened your mouth.

'hi, im sadie.' she said with her bright blue eyes and scrunched freckled nose.

'hi sadie, im y/n.. im new. new to canada pretty much.'

sadie looked to shocked and gave you a big hug, 'why didnt ya say so? i love helping new kids. whats your schedule?' sadie gave you a warm happy feeling, you liked her, i think you have made a new friend.

you handed her your class schedule and she read it over with her finger tracing each letter.

'oh hey! we have first and 3rd period together!' she said with a bright smile.  you were relieved that you would have someone you atleast decently know at school, you gave her a reassuring smile and took back the schedule, as the bus stopped at your new school.
