Saitama was resting on his bed when the portal opened above him, a hand wrapping around his wrist and yanking him up before he could process what was happening.
The bald hero flew through the air and hit a wall. Groaning and rubbing his head, Saitama could hear someone sigh, "Well that's not him. I thought you said that the portal would appear right above him so we could just grab him without risking anyone else."
An irritated voice retorted, 'I said it would probably appear above him, it wasn't guaranteed. He must have been in a multi-story building, it makes it harder to be exact." Saitama looked up to see a large group of heroes glaring back at him. "Apologies, we were looking for someone else."
Saitama shrugged, getting to his feet. "It's cool. Does this have anything to do with the guy who fell through my roof yesterday? There was a portal then too. He said his name was All Might" A small white rat thing cleared his throat, smiling at Saitama. "Yes actually. Is he alright? We are trying to get him back but as you can see we are not having much luck."
"Oh yeah he's good. I got him the healer down the street and then he slept for a bit. She even fixed up that nasty hole in his side." Someone gasped at this, and Saitama turned to see a short, green haired teenager staring at him, eyes wide. Before he could talk to the kid, however, the rat spoke again.
"I fear we have been rather rude. You must forgive us, this has been extremely stressful. I am Principal Nezzu, from UA Hero Academy. All Might is one of our teachers and the retired #1 hero. What is your name?"
Before answering, Saitama realized he still had a soda in his hand and took a long swallow. "I'm Saitama. Can I go home now?" The villain Sora shook his head, holding up his hands. "I'm burned out, we'll have to wait at least a day."
The bald hero groaned, wishing he was back in bed instead of stuck in this weird place. Even so, he supposed that it wasn't every day you got to go through an interdimensional portal, so he could try to enjoy his stay. "That's fine. Do you guys know where I can find a bathhouse?"
Once in the bath, Saitama began to feel that he wasn't alone; his suspicions were confirmed when he saw the green haired kid from earlier creep in, looking sheepish. "Err... Mr. Saitama? My name is Izuku Midoriya, may I speak with you?" Saitama lazily patted the water next to him. "Sure, go ahead. What's on your mind?"
"You said that you had someone heal All Might. Like completely. But- well, he's had that wound for five years. It's just hard to believe that he's really better. I wish he was here." Saitama sank lower in the bath. "Instead of me you mean? Yeah I get that. Honestly I'd rather have Genos here than you- no offense. He's my friend."
Midoriya sighed, relaxing a little more. This man didn't seem to be hiding anything, he was just a really calm person.
"It was a nasty wound, but it didn't cost too much. Least I could do for the guy after he fell through my roof. Someone said he was the number one hero? I'm a hero too but I think its a different kind of system. Still, he's a cool dude."
"So what's your quirk?" Saitama blinked. "Uhh... I'm bald? I don't really do much, I'm just a hero for fun." Midoriya shook his head, realizing that the other hero didn't know what he was talking about. "Your quirk is your power, like what you use when you're doing hero work." Saitama nodded and replied, "Oh, I get it. I can punch really hard- I can defeat anyone with just one punch. It's actually gotten kinda boring, I'm just waiting around for a proper challenge to come by."
Izuku sat back against the wall, surprised. This man was so powerful, and yet his only reason for being a hero was for fun? Weird, but alright. He only had to deal with this man until tomorrow when they could get All Might back and send Saitama home.
