Chapter 1

Priya's POV:

I woke up as soon as the alarm started ringing.I turned it off and quickly made my way towards the washroom. I completed my bath and came to my room and went near my wardrobe to select a formal dress for my first day of intern.

I completed my Doctor course from a reputed college and I got internship as soon as I completed the college.I got intern from top most Hospital in the city.I am gold medalist in my college and I love to achieve more and more in my life.

I wore my dress and completed combing my hair.I applied concealer to cover my black heads.I took a glance of myself in the mirror and after getting satisfied about my look, I headed towards downstairs picking up my bag.I quickly went to the dining area where my mom is already serving breakfast to my dad and Di.

"Is Diya sleeping?" I asked my sister after pulling the chair beside her.

"Yes,she is"my di said giving me a warm smile.

"Neha,eat quickly and go to Diya"my mom said to my sis Neha.

Diya is Neha's 3 years old daughter who is our life. My sister came to our home 2 days before when her husband went to some foreign country for attending a business meeting.He is a business man who has a company and my sister is HR in the same company. They are married 4 years before and living happily together.

I quickly completed my breakfast and went to Neha di's room where Diya is sleeping. The only person who makes me smile in my life. I almost forgot how to laugh because of my depression in life,but when she is around 1 year old,she came to me and stretched my lips and gestured me to smile. From that time onwards, she became my life and I love her so much.

I kissed her on her cheek without disturbing her sleep and went to my mom and dad and informed them about my departure.They gave me a warm smile and I came out of our home and went to my car.

I leaned on my car door and called my younger brother who is staying in hostel. He is in +2, and he picked my call for first ring.I wished him good luck as he is having exam today,he also wished me luck for the first day of my intern.I ended the call and thought about our relationship in childhood, Neha is the elder one,I am the middle one and Karan is the younger one of our family.We used to enjoy a lot but we hold nothing for each other now as I only distanced myself from them due to my depression. I pushed away my thoughts and opened my bag zip to take out my car keys and ignited the engine.

when I was on my way,my bestie from my mediacal college called me.

"You stupid,why didn't you call me?"she asked me.

"I am busy Shru,sorry"I said genuinely.

"It's ok yar,I called you to wish you good luck for your first day at the intern"she said in one go.

"Thank you so much sweet heart"I said to her.

"You know what, I am always a sweet heart"she said. Shruthi is the only friend I had and she knows everything about me and she didn't judged me based on my past.That's why I will never leave her.

"Are you there?"she almost yelled at me.

"Yes I am there,and yeah you are indeed a sweet heart.Okay bye,will call u later"saying this I ended the call and parked my car as I reached the hospital.

As soon as I entered the hospital,I went to the reception following the directions written on the boards.I gave my copies of admission to the receptionist and she guided me towards my work place. I gave her a small smile and went to my work place.

I went to the MD cabin and knocked on the door slightly.

"Come in" he replied in a stern voice.I quickly made my way towards him and took a seat after he asked me to take the seat.We talked for sometime.

"So,All the best lady"saying this he gave me some instructions and information about my timings and shifts.

I came out of his cabin and went towards my ward where my dreams are waiting for me.
