Chapter 3

Priya's POV

I am hell tired with all the work today.My first day of intern was quite good but as the patients arrival is more,I have to put extra strength for treating them.After completing my work,I came out of the hospital and went to parking lot.I quickly started the car and headed towards my home.

On my way to home,I went to a Departmental store to buy chocolates for Diya. When I was about to pay the bill,I got a call from Sruthi and I paid my bill and answered her call.

"How is your first day at intern?Are you comfortable there?"she went on asking the questions.

"Relax,shru....I am good and coming to intern it's good"I said calming her.

"Ok fine ,then you have to attend the party tomorrow"she said firmly.

"No,shru....you know that I don't like socialising with people"I tried to convince her but everything went in vain.

"I am not having anyone who is close to me in the party Priya....I will be alone"she said using her tricks.

"Ok shru,I will be coming,text me the venue and yeah good night"saying this I ended my call and headed towards my car.

I went to my home and as soon as di opened the door,Diya came running to me.I didn't touch her as I came from hospital and she too didn't protest much.I quickly went to my room and took a shower.I came out and wore my night dress.I made my way towards downstairs holding the chocolates which I brought for Diya.

"Chote ma...."saying this Diya hugged me.I lifted her in my arms and twirled her for which she laughed loudly.Our home filled with her laughter and I lost myself in her smile.

"You came home,wait I will serve you dinner"my mom said as soon as she saw me.

"Did you and dad had your dinner mom?"I asked my mom.

"Yes,we had it few minutes earlier"she replied back.

"Ok mom,I don't feel like eating now,I will eat afterwards"I requested my mom.

"Ok beta,but definetly eat your dinner"saying this she went to her room.

"How is your first day at intern?"Neha di asked me giving milk to Diya.

"It's good"I replied shortly.

"Ok, mom told me that you don't want to eat?"she asked me raising her eyebrows.

"I will eat afterwards di"I said her and she nodded her head.

"Diya and I are leaving tommorow as your jiju will be coming tomorrow"my sister said taking milk glass from Diya.

"Ok di,please come over here this weekend with Diya and jiju"I requested her. I gave her the chocolates which I brought for Diya.

"Yeah sure sweetheart"saying this she took Diya from me as Diya is about to sleep.

"Good night di"saying this I kissed Diya who is sleeping peacefully in di's arms.I made my way towards my room.

I went into my room and took out my mobile from my bag.As soon as I took out my mobile I saw notifications popping on my screen.I opened them and saw that Sruthi texted me the venue details of the party.I decided to sleep but as I didn't had my dinner, I felt like eating the chocolate which I brought for myself earlier in the shop while buying for Diya.I ate it and decided to sleep.

I switched off the bed lamp but sleep was far away from me.I switched on the light and went near my window,I opened them and cold wind started coming from the window.I stayed rooted at the place staring at the full moon.As I am not sleepy,I went towards study table and took out my books and started reading.I studied for few hours and when I saw the time it is 2:00 clock in the morning.I gave a sigh and opened my wardrobe.I took out my sleeping pills which I hid under my dresses.I went near my bed and took out water bottle.I ate the tablets along with the water and slept after setting the alarm.
