Chapter 4

Priya's POV

My phone constantly kept ringing and I was not able to open my eyes because of lack of sleep.I am still on my bed with blankets over me.I lifted the call without seeing the caller ID.

"What is the dress you are going to wear at the evening party?"Shru yelled in the phone.

"You called me early morning at 4'O clock just to know which dress I am going to wear?You are unbelievable Shru"I said rubbing my eyes with thumb finger.

"yeah,I am excited for the party....unlike you,that's why"she said in one go.

"I don't know what I am going to wear"I said her.

"Okay no problem babe,let's go to shopping"she said firmly.

"You already forgot that I have to go to intern?Didn't you?"I asked her raising from my bed by pulling the blankets.

"Yeah,I forgot...okay no problem babe,I will go with Smrithi and I will do your shopping also"she said shocking me.

"No way,I will wear some random dress....why are doing this?"I asked her.

"Babe,I forgot to tell you one more important thing....it's not a normal party,it's Masquerade party...which means that you have to dance with random people wearing mask"she said shocking me.

"I am not going to come then..please Shru?I tried to convince her.

"No way,you are going to come and that's final"she said firmly.

I know that she has done a lot for me but she didn't ask me anything till now."Ok will come,bye"saying this I hung up the call.Sleep is already far away from me.So,I decided to go for jog as there is lot of time for my intern.I quickly made my way to washroom and came out .I decided to wear a track pant.I saw that my mobile charging is low and decided to charge it.As soon as I came down my mom is doing her puja.I went near her and told her I am going for jog.She said ok and asked me to come early. I assured her that I will come back quickly.

"Why are you not taking your phone with you?"my mom asked me.

"There is no charging,so I left it in my room" saying this I shrugged my shoulders.

"Ok,fine take my phone with you and call your dad from my phone as soon as you complete your jog"my mom said searching for her phone.

"No need mom,I will ask any person in the park,you continue your puja"saying this I came out from y home without turning back as my mom will object me to take her phone.

I went to near by park and started doing some exercises.After that I started running and did some push ups.While doing a push up,I lost the balance and fell down.

"Are you alright?"I heard a voice from behind.

"Yeah I am fine"saying this I tried to get up from my place but the pain is so much such that I was unable to get up.

"Wait,I will help you mam"saying this that guy extended his hand and lifted me.

"Thank you so much"saying this I tried to come out of the park.

"Mam,I know you....you are my senior in our college"that guy said to me.

"Oh..but I don't know you.Bye"saying this I came out of the park.

"Mam,my name is Siddharth Ram"saying this he extended his hand for shooking.

"I am Priya...nice to meet you"saying this I tried to end the conversation.

"Mam you are gold medalist right?every faculty member will praise you in front of us mam... glad to see you here"he said with lot of anxiety in his voice.
