How to I keep surviving this shit. My thoughts did gymnastics trying to figure out the situation and why Kenny was even involved in the first place. Eren....this fucking guy managed to do all this. I know for sure if he wasn't here, we wouldn't be here today. The huge flaming Titan had climbed out the cave, forcing the rock to fall on the crystal supports that Eren had created. I admired Eren's crystallised Titan form, so this is what Annie could do. Did she need to drink a serum to develop this ability as well? I noticed Hanji injured on the floor, we needed to get out of here. I'm sure she's speculating the same ideas that I am.

To my back was eren, on the floor staring at me. His eyes were bright, light reflecting from the crystal walls into his eyes. They reminded me of emeralds. Was he about to cry again? Stupid brat. I knew I needed to talk to him after all this is over, if we even survive but theres no time to have unnecessary thoughts like that.

A day had passed, Historia was to become the new queen of the walls. We had defeated her father. I hadn't had time to collect my thoughts and process all of this. Kenny....I never understood you. I didn't even know your last name until a few days ago, but you raised me. A search squad came with me to search the land where the sacrificial cave was. It look a while to walk around, what was the point? Just to find another dead body? How am I supposed to handle this much grief?

Petra, Oluo, Eld, Gunther....My Mother passed when I was so young. I hate kenny, he's insane but even seeing him dead would just be a cruel reminder that I'm always left behind in this world.

"Captain Levi!" A subordinate Called out to me. "What is it? Your face looks like it's leaking shit". I said acting emotionless and unimpressed, preparing myself for what he had to say.

"We've found Kenny Ackermann sir!"

Sometimes my body just moves on it's own, I walked in the direction he came from. I had to go. We approached Kenny.

There was no helping him. The last words he spoke to me were all very symbolic about his ideology of the society he lived in. He had snatched some Titan serum from Rod Reiss and gave it to me, I think he choose to die than become one as a statement in his last moments. He was insane but everything he did has a meaning-a lesson to be learned.

Tears fell down my face as our last conversation replayed in my mind.

"It seems my last name is Ackermann too, Kenny tell me what were you to my mother?" I grabbed his shoulders and he looked at me, smiled and casually said "oh just her brother".

This man, Kenny was my uncle.

I had family this whole time and I didn't even....

Before I could say anything back, he was gone.
