chapter 4

It was the next day and today we were getting ready to move everything in the new house. The movers were going to bring all our furniture in the uhaul trucks and it was definitely going to be a busy week. Not to mention, I had to register for the dreaded school I was going to start to attend on Monday, and it was only Tuesday now so I had a while.

We got to the new house and I absolutely love it definitely was looking forward to start living here.

"Mija we need to go shopping soon for groceries here,  after we unpack some things want to head in to town"?

"Yeahh I definitely mom!

Okay as soon as we get a good amount will go.

Me and my mom arrived at Wal-Mart and we were still going to go to Harmons , trader Joe's, sprouts those were my favorite store's to shop back in California and I was looking forward to seeing them here.

When we entered walmart , my mom told me to grab a cart as I was walking along I felt like I was being watched. I remember feeling a burning gaze on me and I didn't like it. There was a group of guy's about my age or older, and they were hanging out at the Subway in the store. One of them was staring at me and I hated the way he was making me uncomfortable.

Walking away they were whispering, watching me like I was their prey. Hearing them say things that made me shutter.

Unknown POV

Me and my buds were grabbing a bite to eat after I got the item's my mom needed from Walmart. We were sitting watching the customers coming in and out,  seeing any girls we found alluring.

"Nothing all the same women in this town,  Yeahh nothing seems to peek my interests these day" my boy Davis said"

Yeahh think I feel like the women in this town don't give me that thrill I need. Yeahh don't see anything I--

"Who's that?"

Who?

"Damn" idk but I definitely need to meet her and my body wants to meet her to Davis licking his lips.

"She was tall like a model,  long brunette hair that was past her waist. And as soon as I saw her eye's I was mesmerized, green eye's the color or the forest gorgeous.

"Yeahh idk who that is but I have to meet her" God she looks perfect. I guess I know who I'll be looking forward to seeing here she definitely seems to be new in town.

Roses POV

As I was walking with my mom, those dudes I saw at subway keep giving me the creeps. Not that I didn't know how to defend myself, since I had taken martial arts since I was 6. And I was one class from getting my black belt I new I could handle myself.  And my dad did teach me fighting moves and how to punch with the punching bags at home. Thinking about him made me sad and I remembered all the advice he would give me.

Flashback

"Are you ready mija? Bring it old man"

" Hahaha you got jokes come on I want you to punch with all your strength just let it out. Okay, I started punching the bag, my dad was holding the bag behind it. Right hook, upper cut, left,  right, I was punching it good until my dad said that was enough.  After he told me to do a burn out of 20 pushups and I would be good.

Stretching my limbs I was finishing up, you did good mija. Thanks dad I was smiling loving that moment I shared with him. He made me stronger , telling me to never give up ,and show weakness to anyone and to always keep my head up. 

End of flashback

"Rose, Rose? "

Oh , sorry mom, que paso?

Nada mija , you just zoned out. Remembering your dad?

Yeahh, my voice breaking a bit and looking down.

"It's ok mija" I miss him to.

Me and my mom were finishing up getting a few of the items, when I saw the guy's from Subway approaching us.

I ignored their stares, I'm not going to lie they were gorgeous like Greek gods. But one guys in particular, I felt like he was undressing me with his eye's. Gave me shivers up my spine, he was tall, longish raven hair, piercing bluish green eyes. The color of the sea. He looked around 6'4 the rest were equally tall just not as him, and they all looked muscular.

But they wouldn't stop staring and it was making me blush and annoyed. Mija are you ok? No mom those dude's no dejan de mirar me( They won't stop staring at me) Oh mija, just ignore them ok? I'll try. Are we almost done? Yeahh we got everything.

Good, now we need to go to go to Trader Joe's and get the rest of the item's.  Sounds good mom.

Leaving walmart was a weight of my shoulders, I felt like I could finally breath. Those dudes were really irritating me. Haven't they ever seen a girl before?  I swear men.. After heading the rest of the store's, we finally made it home with everything we bought.

" Well what should we make for dinner mija?

" Umm honestly I wouldn't mind a giant PB&J I chuckled, With Ezekiel bread,  peanut butter, bananas, blueberries and jelly my mouth wax watering just thinking about it. With chips on the side and a big glass of almond milk.

"Okay" its settled, we're having a picnic in the living room and will eat sandwiches. Yes!! Best dinner ever.

Mom and I enjoyed our sandwiches on the floor, we were chatting and after we finished, we had to unpack more boxes and get thing's set up.

The movers had helped with the beds, I had picked out my room. It was a decent room, with a walkin closet, bathroom with a giant tub also. I had also decided to paint it a green and black design, since forest green is my favorite color I think it will go well with the ideas I had in mind.

My mom got the master bedroom of course,  she had a giant bed, a walkin closet, bathroom with a jacuzzi she deserved it. After the long hours she will be working at the hospital she will definitely need to rest her body.

Their was still so much to do, but we can do it. Tomorrow I was going to register for my new school ughh.. yeahh, wasn't looking forward to it. I also needed to get a uniform, I swear I'm wearing pants their is no way I'll be dressing with little short skirts I see some girls wearing.

Rose, yeahh mom? Tomorrow at 1 we have an appointment at the school you'll be attending. Great.. I said sarcastically, can't wait.

It was 1 am at night and me and my mom had gotten a lot done. We had gotten the drawers and closets  in our room filled with our clothes. The bathrooms with the  necessities, soaps, shampoos, conditioner etc. All we had to do was assemble the dining room table, unpack the kitchen ware, spoons, pots, pans all the good stuff. And tomorrow after we would get back from hell.. I mean my new school ,we were going to receive the furniture and electronics and we would be set. After taking a shower and getting ready for bed we went to sleep.
