I watched through the portal, waiting for my cousin to come back. I couldn't see through it too well, since it was flickering every once in a while. I saw something coming through, so I backed up. Val's dismembered head fell through, eyes staring blankly at the ceiling.

"Devan, go!"

I watched as my cousin Devan approached and jumped forward into the portal. It flickered just as he jumped. I decided to look out, and ducked. He wasn't there. He wasn't here. He was gone. A lump caught in my throat. The portal flickered, and began closing. They weren't going to make it.

"Zabrina, you will be the last Hunter. Lunah, you will be a leader of the Revenirs. Trust me, and never forget me!"

I watched as the portal flickered, growing smaller. They hugged, and, just as the explosion started, the portal closed completely, leaving us in complete darkness. And that was the last time I saw my cousin Roslynn.

My name is Lunah, and I'm seventeen years old. My father was part of the government, that is, until Artemis, my cousin, exploded it. She told me her story. She was the loose end that finally met, and was the beginning of a new age. She started it, and I will help end it.

My two friends are Bryan and Rebekah. Rebeckah is the daughter of the president, and was shown mercy, and was brought here. Bryan on the other hand, wouldn't be in the safe house if it weren't for me.

I hope we can be part of the restarting of the government, or possibly governments, but the one thing I want to say beforehand, something that if Artemis knew, she'd roll around in her grave.

Vladimir was immune to the bomb she used. He's the loose end we need to take care of. And in honor of Artemis, I'm now going by my middle name; Artemis. Kind of seems like a loop; Artemis after the president, all over again.

Oh yeah, one more thing. We're on the moon, with no way of getting down. Brilliant safe house, horrible planning. I guess the plan was rushed, or without a lot of thinking, or maybe they had no way of knowing. Getting down is our first priority. After that, let's hope we can help sort stuff out on earth.
