"I think we might be in trouble," I whispered to Bryan.
"You think?" he snorted.
"What were you thinking?" Thalissa said, rolling her eyes. "Don't you know we both have insomnia, Artemis? Besides, we have a mental link. You had no way of getting away with this. Atleast, not past me."
"Sorry, sis." I said, hanging my head.
She smirked. "Lucky for you, I don't mind your little bits of trouble making. You both have about a half hour until you need to be back in. Then put the suits away, go to your beds and pretend to sleep for five minutes. The only thing I ask is that you pretend this never happened, pretend that I figured out the code. Got it?"
Bryan and I grinned, giving eachother a side glance. "You got it!" we replied.
"Good, and if you do that, and don't get caught, I have something to give you Artemis," she said, turned, and walked inside.
We both let out a deep breath.
"Wow, you have an awesome sister."
"Yeah, I know."
"Why'd she call you Artemis?"
"In honor of my cousin. We both ended up with the same middle name, so ever since she died, Thalissa and a few others have been calling me Artemis."
"Meh, I still like Lunah better."
I shrugged. "Well, then you call me Lunah."
"Thanks for your 'permission' Lunah," he said, nudging my shoulder.
I shoved him. "Hilarious. See how funny that was? I'm laughing so hard."
"Whatever. What should we do before we go back in?"
"How about we turn off the gravity, and have a jumping contest?"
He grinned. "You're on! I'm ready to whoop your butt!"
I pressed the button, and leaped almost 20 feet into the air. I soared up, and slowly fell back down. I watched as Bryan then jumped up, flying over my head.
"Wow, that was high! Though, I bet I can still get higher." I grinned, and jumped up again, going so high, I felt slightly acrophobic.
After jumping around for a while, it was time to head back inside.
We changed out of and folded up the suits then put them back in the chest and locked it up.
"Good night," I said, winking sarcastically at Bryan.
"Yeah, I hope you get plenty of sleep."
We tiptoes back to our beds, lay dawn, and closed our eyes. After what felt like an eternity, and yet it went by so fast, I was tapped on the shoulder by Zabrina.
"Wake up, Artemis. It's breakfast time."
I pretend to get up groggily, stretching, and giving a fake yawn. "I thought we were cutting out breakfast. Aren't we almost out of food?"
She grinned. "Actually, we found a food storage, thanks to a map. There's enough food to last us almost a year!"
"Please tell me we aren't living of of dried beef and past date ravioli."
"Nope! There are a few fridges, and a freezer. We even found an oven!"
I beamed. "Well, sign me up! I'll be there in a few minutes."
"Oh yeah! One more thing." She handed me three small pills. "We also found a medicine cabinet. Thalissa said this was the kind of medicine you take for insomnia and depression. You can take it with your breakfast."
