The moonlit clearing made the vast of fog appear into territory as the medicine cat, medicine apprentice, warriors, apprentices, and kits filled the clearing, and soon would come the deputy and leader, right after their restful sleep.
"Your kits are beautiful, Willowcloud." Purred Ashpelt in the background, and Sneezekit and Chasingkit hopping up and down, there was three kits, all of them black, except one, that had a mix of gray, the things that made them different was their sizes and shapes. One was lean, and one was fluffy.
The kits mewed, due to all the noises.
"Everyone, come out, we'll worry about the kits tomorrow, these little ones need some space!" Pebblestream meowed, looking as if she remembered her kits when they were first born. Which were Sneezekit and Chasingkit, who were becoming apprentices right after the three newborns open their eyes for the first time.
Cloudpaw then padded towards her mentor.
"Cloudpaw, do you remember what borage leaves do?"
"They help with kitting?" Cloudpaw guessed.
"Close, it helps with milk, bringing down fevers, and soothes bad bellies, now give this to Willowcloud." Sagefur corrected, then giving Cloudpaw the herbs.
She then held them in her muzzle, and carried them over to Willowcloud.
"Eat these." Cloudpaw ordered, pawing over the little herbs.
Willowcloud nodded, not taking a single heartbeat of waiting, and instantly ate them while the kits were suckling on her milk.
Tonight, the clearing did not change a bit, besides the moon growing slightly bigger than before when Willowcloud had her kits.
All of a sudden, Sagefur's tail bristled, her eyes widened, and her fur did not lay flat; nothing laid flat.
She saw a vision -- She'd never forget.
There was a shadowy kit bringing the only light that she could bring around her.
"What is it, Sagefur?" Her apprentice came to her side.
Sagefur's eyes still were open wide, and then she looked down at the medicine apprentice.
"A prophecy." She replied.
