Chapter 4

Yoongi's POV:

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" I wailed as she dragged me out of the woods by my left ear which hurt more than it was described in movies. I begged her several times to let go but she continued ignoring me until we were nearing her house, I'm actually surprised that the whole neighbourhood didn't wake up hearing me scream.

When she finally let go of me I stumbled forward a bit and began massaging my ear to make it feel better, I think its red.

"Yoongi what the hell was that!" Alesha raised her voice making me flinch, this woman is scary I'll give her that.

I sighed, continuing to ease the pain in my left ear "How much did you see?"

She shook her head as if in utter disappointment "Enough."

I couldn't face her, yes because I am embarrassed that she saw what I did for that girl, and also because I didn't want her to see...

"Yoongi you should've been watching your back! Didn't you hear her call you?" 

I shook my head still not looking at her...

"Yoongi?"

I refuse.

"Yoongi!" All of a sudden she grabbed my face and turned it towards her, I hear her gasp. Even though it's night, I can tell that she can see them...

"Oh no, this is bad!" she examined my now red eyes.

"Look I know it's bad, that's why I went out today." I told her hoping that she'll understand.

She shook her head "You should've told me!"

"I didn't want to worry you."

She sighed and started pacing back and forth while all I could do was stand and watch her. We both knew that I was screwed if I don't find something to eat real soon. All vampires knew, that if one vampire has red eyes, it means that they have found human blood so rare and precious that there can never be a substitute for it, it will need more than 20 animals to feed off on to ease the huge thirst only a little, that's why I was going into the woods, to ease my hunger. But now animal blood just simply won't do, it's human blood that I need.

"Just feed off on her and promise me that you will never do this again!" she pointed her long pale finger at me.

I hesitated. Sure I only just met the girl today but I don't want to turn into the monster that I once was, but then again, a vampire's thirst feels like a burning metal rod being shoved down your throat. I sighed and nodded, knowing what I had to do.

"That's her house." Alisha pointed in the direction of the house closest to the forest and without another word I was already up on the roof. 

I climbed down and slid into her room through the open window and there I saw her, the moonlight illuminating her body splayed across her bed with the covers only up to her waist. She looked so tempting, more tempting than any other human that I have ever seen...why so? Edging closer to her, I could already hear her breathing soundly and a small smile danced across her face. She's having a dream...that'll be the last thing that she will remember...

Leaning over her, I sighed and opened my mouth to bare my fangs closer to her neck without trying to make a sound. As my feet moved forward a bit, I slipped on something and began falling on her, but luckily I regained my balance quickly but in the process, also intertwined our fingers together. And then all of a sudden everything went black, I saw a light dancing around in the darkness as it became bigger creating a slideshow of images. 

It was her only...she had fangs...

"Come on Haru, nearly there!"

Haru??

Is that me!!?? And who's baby is that???

"His first steps."

What the hell's going on and did I just say that!?

"Mama."

I pulled away from her and stood up, what just happened!!!!????? It's like we were sharing thoughts or something...I know one thing for sure... I can't kill her, not yet anyway. I need to find Matt, he'll probably know what's going on, but I'm so thirsty!

I looked out the window and then back at Hana, I'll have to postpone this onto another day because for now, I have to find less-pityed prey.

Hana's POV:

I woke up to sirens screaming outside. I checked the time on my digital clock on my bedside table, the clock indicated 7:43am. I stood up to look outside pushing the curtains away a bit to see multiple police cars in front of one of my neighbors' house. My head snapped back when I heard a knock on my door.

"Please answer the door, this is the police."
