New Beginnings

Three days after the video, which Dan and Phil titled How to Bake a Delia Smith Cake, was filmed, edited and posted, Phil was sitting on the couch playing Crash Bandicoot when Dan burst in the door absolutely bubbling with joy. He literally hopped across the room to Phil and sat on the couch with him. "Why so cheerful?" Phil grinned. "Oh, isn't the world just so beautiful today?" Dan proclaimed. The sun shines, the birds sing, it's perfectly perfect." (Okay. You are permitted to hydra pump onto the screen.) Phil was now a little scared but he still smiled at Dan and said, "And why is this?" "Because I met the most beautiful girl in the galaxy today. She was perfect. Dan gazed dreamily at the ceiling.(Take a break to go to the bathroom and vomit, guys, I understand.) "Okay, Dan, you're scaring me. You're never like this, and I mean EVER. Are you feeling all right?" Phil asked nervously. "I'm WONDERFUL!" Dan threw his arms in the air. "Alright you stay here, I'm going to phone the hospital." Phil said. "Phil. Wait. I'm fine. I was just messing with you." Dan sounded like his normal self again. "Wait, what?" Phil asked. "I was just trying to get back at you for the Delia Smith thing. Clearly it worked." Dan said, smirking. "Ha ha, very funny, Daniel." Phil said irritably. "Anyway," he said, brightening up, "want to play some Crash Bandicoot?" "Sure, Phil, but first I need to tell you something. I really did meet this girl the other day, and I was planning to tell you sooner, but....we're dating. She's a really nice girl, ad I think you'd like her..." Dan said nervously. Now Phil went into a jealous rage. He's never felt like this before. He was now willing to totally accept the fact that he liked Dan, and he could only hope Dan liked him back. "WHAT?!" He screamed, and threw the Xbox onto the floor, smashing it. "Whoa, Phil, calm down! What was that for?" Phil slowed his breathing a bit and said, "Dan, I have to accept this now, and I hope you will too. I-I-I like you." He finally admitted. "And, well...I'm jealous of your girlfriend, I suppose. I hope you don't think I'm weird or crazy. I don't know why or how it happened. It only began a few days ago when I was browsing Tumblr and found a fanfiction about us. I laughed at it, and thought it was totally ridiculous, until.....until it started coming true. I'm sorry." Dan looked completely shocked. "Phil, I.....I didn't know. And I'm really sorry, but I- I don't feel the same way about you. This is going to make living together really awkward, and I'm already in a relationship, and.......I think I need to get my own place. I'm sorry. I guess this is the beginning.....of our end." And he walked out of the lounge, leaving Phil to break down in tears.
