Chapter 2 Nyrie Nyrie

I stared at her because I just wanted to know more. I wanted to figure her out. I knew it was making her feel uncomfortable because of the way she slightly smiled and rubbed my leg. It was a nervous smile as if she didn't know what to do or say to me. I finally looked away from her and put the car in drive and pulled off.

"So Ms.Nyrie, where have you been, trying to keep up with you is like trying to keep up with a crack head that just won a million dollars,"

She looked at me exasperated. But knowing her I knew she was going to have the perfect answer like she did every time.

"baby you know I've been on the road. I told you I was going out of town," she sighed

"Ya I know what you told me, but I haven't seen you in three weeks"

"Baby let's not talk about that okay, Let's just talk about now," she begged. "

She made a puppy face telling me how much she missed me because she knew it would get her on my good side.

"You hungry, I'm in the mood for some Chinese."

"You think u slick. You know Chinese is my favorite, I'll never turn that down."

Pulling up to the Chinese restaurant I handed Ny two crispy one hundred dollar bills . "Baby you know the food is not going to be this much."
"I know angel, but that's your tip,"

she got out of the car and walked into the restaurant . I couldn't help but watch her ass as she walked through the door. She was so fine. Even with her hair being a little messy and looking like she had a rough night, I still could see pass that and couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was.

I pulled out my phone and noticed I had 8 missed calls all from a blocked number. This number had been calling me for about a week now. I made a note to myself to change my number but things just kept coming up. I stared at my phone and was interrupted by a tap on the window. I looked up and saw a police officer. I confusingly rolled down the window,
"hello officer is there a problem,"
"Ya the problem is this is a handicap spot and I don't see a handicap sticker, Can you move your car please," the officer snarled
I sucked my teeth and rolled up the window "Fucking pigs," I mumbled

Nyrie got back into the car in a different mood. She didn't say a word. She rode in silence staring out the window as if she were deep in her thoughts.
"Is everything ok, pretty girl?"

She nodded her head yes but I knew something was wrong .
