I'm in love.
Her voice gives me chills.
She's graceful as a dove
Flying over the hills.
Over those hills, right into my heart.
Her smile is like a light in the dark
That helps me sleep at night.
She's fond of me, as I am of her.
She sings a lullaby,
The most beautiful I've ever heard,
And it almost makes me cry.
Her and I haven't met,
But one day we will,
So I won't fret
Not a single tear will spill.
We almost met too soon,
But it wasn't time,
So I must settle for hearing her signature tune
That flows off her tongue like sweet wine.
Every night I get closer
To taking my final breath,
And one day I will feel the cold embrace
Of the love of my life, Death.

PoetryJust poems I write during school when I'm bored. Some are bad, especially the first few, but the rest aren't half bad. They're probably really dark but there should be one or two happy ones.
