We spent that night in each other's arms, not talking or listening to anything, just staring into the darkness, not making a sound. We didn't sleep, if I closed my eyes, I was afraid I would wake up to nothing, he would be gone and I would be alone. He felt the same. Finally, my alarm went off.

"Good morning." I said, slurring my words. He quietly chuckled, "you sound sleepy." I giggled back, "right back at you." I groaned and sat up to stretch but his arms grabbed me and pulled me back down, we laughed. "Come on, we have to get up for schooooool." I whined into his chest. "Let's ditch today, just walk around and see what we can find." I looked up at him, "we have a test in math though." He sat up and looked down at me, "it can wait till tomorrow."

He proceeded to put his shoes on and pull me up, "this just in, Petter Parker, straight A student, ditches school for the first time!" I said in a news anchor type of voice. "Come on, I don't have straight A's." We both laugh as I grab a jacket and my shoes. We headed downstairs, my brother and his fiancé were sitting at the kitchen table. They decided to stay with us for a little while longer after my mom got out of the hospital.

"Morning Max... and Petter." My brother sighed and took a big sip of his coffee. Audrey, his fiancé, leaned over and smacked him with a newspaper. He shrugged. "Morning, Ass-wipe. Morning Audrey!"  I grabbed my scarf and beanie from the coat rack. "Heading to school?" My brother asked as he made his way over to us. "Yes, mother." I said in a sarcastic tone, Petter awkwardly stared at the ground. "Hm, that's funny, cause you usually take a backpack when you go to school. Do you take a backpack to school Petter?" Petters eyes shot up and he started at Cody for a split second, "uh, y-yes." He stuttered out. "We are already late so we gotta bounce." I spat while I pushed Petter out of the door. " You could at least eat some.... breakfast." My brother yelled as the door slammed behind us.

Petter and I stopped around the city for awhile till we finally stopped at a small park bench to sit. "Petter?" I asked, hesitantly. "Hm?" He murmured while he looked at the grass. "I missed you.." Petter fidgeted with his zipper. He didn't reply for awhile. " I'm sorry" he finally whispered after what felt like minuets. "It's okay Petter-" he cut me off, "No, no it's not okay. I wasn't there for you." He stood up, " I left you for so long cause I couldn't handle myself. I couldn't, no, I can't handle his death Max! I did this, me...How could I?" I held my breath so I wouldn't explode, but alas, I couldn't hold it in. "The weight of the world doesn't rest on your shoulders, Petter!" I stood up, getting very close to him. "His death was tragic, but he did it to save this city. And you are taking it way harder than you should. Cause it isn't your fault. None of it was your fault, Petter. Man up, Petter Parker, and help this god damn city. That's what he would want you to do, because he sure can't." I walked away, leaving him frozen in place.

4 hours later

I had kept walking in frustration, just everywhere. I had finally stopped to rest, and to cry. I sobbed in a corner of an ally, just wanting the pain to stop. I hated all of this, I just wanted Petter back, I hated seeing him that way. I cried so hard I didn't hear the footsteps that approached me. "Hi sweetheart, are you alright?" A feminine voice said to me, I looked up, this girl with cherry hair and blue eyes looked down at me. She wore a green top and white pants, she looked friendly. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I said wiping my eyes. When I looked up again there were 2 burly men coming towards us. "Oh them, don't worry about them. We are here to help." She cooed as her loving smile became evil and her eyes twitched.

"Wait, WAIT NO-" all of a sudden there was duct tape over my mouth and a bag over my head. I was grabbed by the waist and thrown into a car, it took off, sending me straight into a large piece of metal that was in the back. I blacked out.
