Chapter 7

Its been only a week and Christen is now starting to get along with everyone. Her shyness slowly gone away and Axl's opinion changed about her! Today was the day they arrived to New Jersey for their next concert. Most of the day they sat on the tour bus waiting impatiently to get off the bus. On the way there everyone just sat around relaxing for the show tomorrow night. Christen was writing in her journal on her little bed until someone snatched the book out her hand. Looking up she could see it was Ramona flipping the pages in her journal. Chris quickly sat up reaching out trying to take it back but Ramona just pushed Christen back down on the bed reading about the tour life.Suddenly she saw a part about Slash kissing her. Ramona snapped her head over at Christen shouting "Aha! I knew something happened with you two!" Christen shushed Ramona seeing Steven already looking back at the two. Christen squinted her eyes whispering "Was that really necessary to shout out?" Ramona just smirked rolling her eyes playfully "Better be careful Christen. He's been with many girls ya know? " Christen looked away and said "I'm not interested anyway no matter how much he'd feel for me" Izzy was walking back there but instead he rather not interupt the girls talking. He just hid behind the wall listening to their discussion. His eyes widened when he heard those words out of Christen's mouth. He wouldn't tell Slash she said that but he would support her with the choice shes making. Not to mention Izzy did start feeling something for her. He didn't want to rush things like Slash did. Kissing Christen on the first night she was here was a dick move for Slash. Continuing to listen to the girls conversation he overheard Ramona say "Christen you realize the world won't think its fair that you are on tour with us right?" Christen sighed "Well whats so bad with me on tour? Am I really that bad to be here?" Ramona quickly answered in a pouty voice "No no no...Its just you are a fan. No one is dating you." Christen stayed silent before the thought of what she was trying to say reached into her mind "Are you saying I have to just purposely date one of the boys here so I can make it fair to other fans?" Ramona let out a laugh and nodded "Yes! But I'm not forcing you into it. Just a thought for you.." Ramona gave Christen a wink before tapping her heels away to Axl who was talking to Slash. Christen groaned laying back on her bed feeling stressed with the thought. Izzy quickly went over to her and bent down saying "Don't be stressed... Ramona is Ramona. Don't let her push you into it." Izzy lightly rubbed his thumb over Christen's head helping her to relax more. Christen just stared at him not bothering to say anything. Wasn't long till they heard Duff yell "Were here!" Izzy took Chris's hand helping her up. Slash went over to Chris with a smirk and Izzy just looked at the two before deciding it was time to leave the two alone. When Izzy left Slash alone with Chris Slash quickly took her hand pulling her close whispering " Can I take you out to dinner?" Christen grinned nodding in agreement. He quickly pulled her  to his side wrapping his arm around her. Later that evening Slash and Christen were sitting in a fancy little restaurant. Christen was looking around until Slash started a chatting to her. "So Christen what do you think of this place so far?" Christen's eyes laid on Slash's and she gave him a little smile answering "Its very divine for the two of us. How did you find this place?" Slash chucked thinking of how silly his answer was going to be "well Chris I thought of taking you out to dinner. Not just somewhere where you may have been before.So I got Axl to tell me places he took Ramona at last year. This was one of the places!" Christen blushed "Well that's flattering of you...but lets make this night more different compared to their night here" Slash took a sip of his wine placing a thumbs up with his free hand. As he set the wine glass down he said "No sex. Got it!" Christen rolled her eyes saying "Of course you'd say that." Slash's eyes widened and he moved some of his hair out his eye asking "Oh so yes sex?" Christen quickly shouted "No! I mean of course you'd make that a joke about them. Boys always make jokes about that stuff." Slash crossed his arms leaning back in the chair "Oh so girls don't think that way? That's not how they sound in bed." Christen was about to say something but their waiter came over and said "Good evening Mr.Hudson...and Mrs.Hudson?" he questioned taking a look over at Christen who chuckled saying "Oh um actually-" she got cut off by Slash saying "Yes Mrs.Hudson" he cracked a smile at her before the waiter spoke again "What would you like to order. We have steak,chicken,chefs choice?" Slash looked at Christen as she pointed to him what she wanted from the menu.Slash looked at the waiter "We'll both take Chefs choice" The waiter nodded taking the menus than walked off. Slash looked at Christen with a grin lightly reaching over placing his hand over hers and said "You know you are quite beautiful Chris?" Christen mumbled so no one but him could hear "That's bull shit" Slash chuckled shaking his head "No its not. It's a fact!" the two argued back and fourth almost like they were a couple. Only they weren't... Wasn't long before the food came out. The waiter handed them plates of a type of pasta  with a side of vegetables. They both dug in eating  most their meal before they both got full. Christen frowned and Slash asked worriedly "Whats wrong?" she looked at him responding "I didn't bring money but I could pay back soon" Slash smiled shaking his head "The meal was free Hun! Its rock star life!" He stood up taking her hand. Christen was indeed shocked at the meal. Slash walked beside her before starting off why he really took her out to dinner he questioned her name. Christen's head turned to Slash and he said "Christen remember when we were putting your stuff in the trunk? I was going to say something but I never got to. Now that were alone I want to tell you this...Ever since I first saw you I was impressed by your beauty. I took you on this tour to get to know you and knowing you for only  week is just amazing!" Christen looked at him flattered by his words than said "What are you trying to say Slash?" He stopped walking making Christen look in his eyes "I like you!" Christen's heart quickly stopped from hearing those three words. She didn't know what to say! It was all to soon! Her words stuttered at first but she needed to be completely honest with him "That's so nice of you to say Slash but I don't feel that way about you and I'm sorry"  She backed away and he completely understood her. They walked back to the hotel in silence and when they got there everyone was sitting at a table all talking at once. Slash walked over saying "Whats the fucking problem!" Duff looked at him with anger in his eyes and said "We have one bed short and no one will sleep with anyone!" Ramona rudely snapped at Duff "Hey Axl and I are sleeping together so shut your fucking mouth!" Izzy sat there in silence the whole time finally getting annoyed. Izzy stood up slamming his cup of alcohol on the table "For gods sake I'll just volunteer to sleep with Christen!" Slash made an evil eye at Izzy when he said that but Christen sounded completely interested in the idea! Everyone nodded and Steven groaned "Holy fuck! Finally the problem is solved!" Izzy walked over to Christen glancing over at Slash than taking Christen leading her into the room. Christen followed  him and the two settled on the one bed they had to share. Christen chuckled whispering "I never seen a group of people argue over beds in my life!" Izzy laughed sitting up lighting his cigarette inhaling the smoke. Moments later Chris took his cigarette and finished smoking it and he smirked. "Never knew you smoked Miss." Christen chuckled answering his response "Well I quit ,but now that I'm a gunner I might as well bring the bad side of me out now. Besides new area, new life! Gotta forget the past and be what is truly right" Izzy smiled and the two leaned back on the bed before eventually they both fell asleep.
