I was thinking, you know how ghosts can push out other ghosts that are overshadowing someone and ghosts are basically spirits. What if they can not only push out just the invasive spirit but also the original one.
To do this ghosts have to use a lot of their energy, it's mostly useless because they can take over without pushing anyone out and is against the law so it basically had no pros and a lot of cons so not many know about it let alone use it.
When they do do this the body goes into a coma like state and the original and basically any other spirit can take it. But only the original can stay for long which is another thing why it's not worth doing it.
