Chapter 19 ~ Unexpected Visits [19]

Charlie's POV

I was sat with the Overload boys (all except Joey who was with Harvey, Liv and Leo) watching TV when the news came on. In the background I saw a picture of a girl who looked like Lou. 

'Welcome to the BBC news,' the news reader said. 

'First of all we talk about a horrific car crash that happened in Sheffield today. The crash involved ex-girlfriend of popstar Charlie Lenehan, Louise Tatum and her Aunt, Linda Hawkins. They were hit side on by a lorry with a drunk driver. Linda has a few broklen bones and Louise is in a coma,' she read. My eyes were wide open and my jaw hit the floor. Louise Tatum is Lou's full name. 

'I've had a text from Liv. She said they are in Northern General Hospital. Let's go down there quick. I'll take you in my car, the rest of the boys can come down later.' 

Me and Ryan ran out the bus and into Ryan's car. We sped out the field and across the city to the hospital where, thankfully, there was no traffic. When we arrived we saw Liv, Leondre, Harvey and Joey sitting in the waiting room. As soon as Liv saw me, she left her tight cuddle with Leo and ran up to me and hugged me. Everythingwas a blur. 

'Charlie, are you alright?' she asked as she pulled away. 

'Um, yeah, fine,' I answered uncertainley. 

'Here is the pass for her hospital room. You can go see her, we told the nurse who is in there you'd be coming. We have already seen her,' Liv explained whilst passing me a laminated pass saying 'ROOM 241' on it. 

'Thanks Liv. You are doing great,' I said as I gave her another hug before walking of with Ryan to find Lou. 

When we found her, we showed the nurse who was waiting outside our pass and she let us in. As soon as i walked in it hit me. There was my angel, my shining star (a/n get it?) covered in bruises. I felt hot tears hit my cheek as I pinched m,yself, hopeing this was all some horrible nightmare. But it wasn't. This was reality. 

Her face was a mess of black and blue. with a huge stiched up scars across her forehead, eyelid and her lip. Her chest was bruised from the impact and all up her arms you could see the little scratches from where the millions oh shards hit her delicate arm. I held her hand and lent forward so my lips brushed her ear. 

'I will always be here with you. Always,' I whispered. 

I lent back and looked down at my lap before I heard a quiet whisper back. 

'Always.'
