Ruth stood there happier than she has ever been in a long time, it was like all her worry's and doubt's disappeared in a instant. She felt like she was seeing a goddess after many years of praying and devotion, finally deciding to grace her with they're divine presents. Tears streamed down her face as she looked at her beloved, she was so close to touching her, holding her, loving her. Only for it to be torn away from her in a instant by somthing grabbing her arm and pulling her away from her love. F/n rushed ruth into a nearby abandoned apartment complex.

Glaring at f/n while they dragged her away from her beloved. After reaching the entrance of the complex Ruth looked back at where her beloved stood in hopes to get a glimpse of her one more time. Only to be met with a wall of dead eyes as she was faced with a group of undead bearing their blood stained teeth at her. Apparently a group of them had spotted her and f/n while ruth was mesmerized by her beloved. Both Ruth and f/n were now running as fast as their legs could take them.

As they burst through the apartment door f/n quickly shut the door as fast as they could before any of the infected could get in. Ruth quickly searched the area to find somthing to barricade the door with. F/n leaned they're body against the door to in hopes to keep out their pursuers. As they did the loud impact of the undead hitting the door echoed through the complex. The force from the impact was so intense that it almost sent f/n flying but they remained to brace the door from the horde outside.

Searching frantically searching ruth was able to find a bunch of heavy luggage that line the messy hall. Most likely from the previous inhabitants trying to leave the building during the beginning of the out break. Not wasting any time she quickly grabbed as much as she could carry and started to stack them at the door. Till there was a decent mound lying at the base of the door. Once she got the pile done f/n got off the door and began to help look for anything they could barricade the door with.

After a 30 minutes of them dragging anything they could find to the door.
From the available hallway they stacked a considerable mound of luggage against the door. With that both parties let out a exhausted sigh before leaning against the walls to catch their breathe. Looking cautiously at the eerie hall of open and closed doors to various rooms. With a exhausted sigh they both got up from their resting place. Then began cautiously searching the rooms for undead.

As they slowly made their way through the hall they slowly began trying all the doors to see if they were open. While closing the ones that were open just incase, making sure they were unlocked before shutting the door. There were undead laying in the hall but f/n took care of them with a crowbar they found. Once all doors were either checked or closed they began to knock on them loudly one by one. As they did they listened in for any sounds coming from the other ends.

Then marking the doors with a X for unsafe and O for safe. Once the dead was done they were confronted with a hall filled with X and O's.
