Today's the day you're going to upload your cover for Mercy by Shawn Mendes, your extremely nervous and your best friend keeps saying,
"Just freaking post it already!! It's amazing and Shawn will notice it for sure!"
She smiles at you as you say, "y/BFF/n, he's got thousands of fans what's a girl like me going to notice for? One cover of his song? Please be realistic!"
She sighs at you, "y/n, it's fucking perfect! He will see it just fucking post it or I will!"
You sigh back at her and then say forget it and upload it to YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, tagging Shawn in each doubting he'll notice it. You get up and grab your purse,
"Let's go shopping I can't sit here and wait for comments to come in I'll go insane."
You both leave in your car, heading to the mall, you shop for awhile and then head home, not bothering to look at your accounts.
The next day...
You wake up to your best friend yelling in your face, "WAKE UP! You have to check your social media's!"
You groan and sit up, grabbing your laptop from the nightstand and turning it on, you login and go wide eyed, you had thousands of views, comments and requests. One stands out the most to you,

You do so, he left his number in them, you don't know what to do so you look at your best friend, "Shawn Mendes gave me his cell number!"
"No fucking way!" She squeals, "call him!"
You take a deep breathe before punching his number into your cell and hitting send, it rings a few times,
"Hello?" A male says on the other end.
"Hi it's y/n, you left your number in my dms on Instagram about my YouTube video?"
"Ah! Yes send me your address I'm getting you a plane out to see me ASAP!"
You go wide eyed, your best friend can hear everything, she mouths, you better say yes and go!
"I can do that Shawn," you say smiling.

You hang up and text him the details he needs, the next thing you hear is your email notifications going off, you open it to see a email with airline information on it, you login on your laptop to your email and print it off, reading the time, it's the red eye flight out tonight in first class, you text Shawn,
