Y/n P.O.V
Have you ever felt as though you don't belong. Like everyone is telling you where you're meant to be, but still a string tied around your heart pulls you in another direction. It sounds silly but sometimes I really feel that way. Today is like any other day. It's Monday morning and I am walking to Higarashi Shrine. My father is not with me today because he is on a business trip in America. I'm not too lonely though because I have my friend Kagome. I met her when I was young because of how often I come to the shrine. We get along much better than either of us do with other people. We always know what the other is thinking. Like we knew each other for hundreds of years. In truth is was only ten, but our bond is stronger than any other.
Finally I climb the last steps of the shrine. It's only six, so Kagome won't be up for a while yet. I go about my normal routine, saying my prayers, cleaning up a few things for Mr. Higarashi, etcetera. Sudenly a harsh gust of wind blows through the yard knocking over all sorts of things, and most notably opening the door to the small building containing a well. I've never been there since it's always given Kagome and I the creep. Now that it's open I guess I should go close it, though. I make my way over to the small building when I hear a whisper.
K u * o * *
"Hello?" I called into the building. Maybe it's Sota pulling a prank on me? He's such a little jerk sometimes. Regardless, he's gonna catch a cold out here. "Sota this is not funny. Get out here." I spoke sternly
K u r o n a
This time the whisper was clear. Sota didn't even know my mother's name. "Who the hell is in here?" You could probably hear the fear in my voice. It's not every day you hear something whisper you late mother's name, okay!? I walked, albeit apprehensively, into the building.
Kurona
The well? I walked over to it but I was suddenly pulled in. Everything was black, and then blue lights surrounded me as a fell. Then I was at the bottom of the well. I didn't fall hard though. Quite gently actually. I was to frightened to question it right away though. Had someone pushed me? I had no idea. I started to climb out of the well. Just wanting to get as far away from this building as possible, but when I got to the top I wasn't at the shrine anymore.
I flung myself over the side of the well landing on my behind. Where am I? I can see trees all around me. In anyother situation I'd be happy and calm, but this is exceedingly concerning. I don't know how I got here but I have to get home. I start walking off into the woods. The sacred tree!! I must be near the shrine. My pace quickens when I see the familiar fauna, but when I get to the tree I am no closer to home. Not to mention even more confused. A man is pinned to the tree by an arrow. I run up to him to see if he's alive.
There's no blood how could he be dead. "Sir, what happened to you? Are you alive." I'm not exactly sure why I'm so worried about this man, but he just seems so familiar. Though, I'm sure I've never met him before. Is he human? His long white hair I had noticed, but now I'm closer Are those dog ears. I reached out to touch the mans shoulder. When my fingertips touched him something changed. Warmth spread up my arm, vibrations rippled in the earth, and I swear my hand glowed. The moment ended quickly though. I pulled my hand away. What was that? Cradling my hand, I backed away from the strange man.
"What are ye doing here, demon?" The voice of an older woman came from behind me. I turned around to se a woman with long gray hair and an eye patch. She was wearing the clothes of a traditional priestess.
"Demon, you mean me?" I said pointing to myself.
"Ye mean to tell me ye are human?" The woman cocked an eyebrow at me.
"Yes, and I don't know where I am." I spoke trying to convince the old lady I meant no harm.
"Ye are in the Forest of Inuyasha. That there is he." She nodded her head at the man behind me. "Why have ye gone up to him?" She looks at me questioningly. In truth I'm not exactly sure why, so I simply tell her the truth.
"Well, I felt drawn to him. I don't necessarily have another explanation." I say looking at my toes.
"Come down child." I listen to the woman, and once I get closer she grabs my face inspecting it. "I can tell ye mean no harm." I don't question how she knew this, but I am grateful. She looks between The boy, Inuyasha, and I. "Come with me." The woman takes my hand a leads me away from Inuyasha.
Kagome's P.O.V
"(Y/n) where are you?!" I call for my friend. "If you don't come out soon we'll be late for school!"
"Kagome over here!" My little brother Sota yells. He is by the well house.
"What is it Sota?" I say walking to him.
"This door wasn't open last night. Could (Y/n) be inside?"
"I'd be surprised but I might as well check." I walk in to the small building. The well rattles. Now what could be in there, Definitely not (Y/n). I walk over to the well, and I'm pulled in by a blinding white light.
