Only a few days until Dakota could finally start his new job as a time traveler, he was excited, more or less, he was pretty much forced into taking this job.

His father was a big player in time traveling so naturally his entire future, and by extend that of his siblings, was already planned out for him. Therefore it had been impossible for him to say no when he received the job offer.

So what should he do with his last three days of freedom? Dakota didn't know so all he did was waste them, feeling sorry for himself.

And now it had arrived, his first day at the time traveling office, as he walked in he was a little anxious, even though he didn't care much about this job, it was nevertheless intimidating seeing all these people and creatures wearing the formal and official time travel clothing, which consists of black pants and a black and red turtleneck with a little hourglass emblem on the left side.

Also the building itself was really big no matter in which direction you looked it didn't seem to end and everywhere were these futuristic looking... Things. Dakota really had no clue what was even going on here or where he should go to introduce himself as the new apprentice.

After search for what felt like hours, to his relief he spotted the officials responsible for his orientation.

He anxiously stepped forward to an older lady and sayed: "Good morning, my name is Vinnie Dak-" before he could even finish his sentence the woman cut of his word and answered harshly "We are waiting for you for half an hour now, don't you think it would be to much to ask being here on time, I expect a little bit more from the son of the manager of our office. Anyway just put your clothes on and get to work. I'll show you your job when you're done changing, locker rooms are down the hall on the right!"

With these words the woman left and Dakota stood there now with his new clothes in his arms, he just tried to recall what just happened.

He walked into the locker rooms and quickly changed, he hated the fact that he couldn't even wear his signature leather jacket or the sunglasses his mother got him as a little treat for accepting this job, why did he bring these things with him anyway, it was only logical that you couldn't wear your sunglasses at work. He stored his clothes in one of the the lockers and walked outside again, as he did he heard his name, it was the Lady from before that was calling him and gesturing with her hands to symbolize him to come over.

As he walked in he saw loads and loads of paper. This is a time travel office, shouldn't it be supposed to have the latest technology, why's there so much paper in this room, he thought, "even if we are a hightech time travelers office, we still keep some things simple, writing important informations down on paper is just the safest thing to if you don't want it to be stolen", she answered his question, just as if she knew what he was thinking. Creepy.

"Anyway", she continued "would you please sort them after their date? They usually are always sorted but lately we got a big case that needed a lot of information from different periods of time so things got quite messy." "Um, sure" Dakota stuttered.

Great. Just great. Late on my first day of work, got lectured and now I'm stuck sorting these boring documents. Why can't I do cool stuff like actual time travel. going on cool time missions. That was about the only thing I was looking forward to in this job. But seems like I'm just gonna spend the rest of my life doing paperwork. He eyed the pile of documents with a dreadful expression. This was going to take ages
