Star Wars: The enemy within

IN MY MIND (part 2)

"No... it can't be..." Mira said as also she looked on the datapad. "There no time to talk about it, we have to leave this place right now!" Mingesh answered. "We all know that. But how?" Rell asked his squad. "There's an aqua-pod in the other room. We could take that one and leave this lab, but we won't stand a chance against the entire army up there." Talia told everyone. "Besides, we need to think outside of the box this mission. He knows our every plan." Mingesh said pointing up to the surface. "15 troops are about to enter the elevator, we need to leave and we need to leave NOW!" Talia said with a slight tone of fear.
"No , no, no!" Mira said as she was the first one to see the aqua-pod. "What's the problem?!" Rell was able to ask as he ran toward the aqua-pod. "It's only designed for one person. I mean we can squeeze in two but there's no way the four of us will get in this one." Mira said in absolute anger. "Talia and I will stay. Rell go get Mira to safety and then tell the republic what's going on here." Mingesh ordered Rell. "There's not a chance in this galaxy that I'm leaving you two to die in this rotten lab." Rell answered. "We won't die... they will probably just capture us." Talia said. "Probably?" Mira answered with chock.
"Where is Rell and Mira?"! Someone screamed to Mingesh and Talia. "It's good to see you to... Brick." Mingesh answered with a grim.

"To your right." Mira said as one of the soldiers came out of the dark town. "Thanks" Rell answered as he fired a shot through the poisoned soldiers chest. "There's 10 more soldiers up ahead. You ready for them?" Rell continued as they ran closer to the spaceship that could be seen. "Come on, I'm always ready and you know that." Mira answered with a laugh. A few rounds of bolts now quickly came close to Rell and Mira. They both however, jumped towards opposite sides of each other and then shot two bolts each towards two of the soldiers. Both soldiers ultimately fell dead to the ground. However, the other troopers didn't stop firing because of this, to be fair they started to shoot more and more the less people they were. However, this didn't stop Rell and Mira from reaching the spaceship.
"That's were the last of them, but they will return soon and probably in larger number. You have to leave... now." Rell said as he saw more soldiers coming in form a long distance. "NO... I won't leave you"! Mira answered. "Yes you will. It's not safe here and you know that." Rell responded as the soldiers came closer and closer. "No... I can't let you die." Mira said as her eyes stared to fill with tears. "Everything ready, you can sleep the entire trip if you want. We both know that's what you really want" Rell said as a joke to make the situation easier. "No... Rell please!" Mira cried out as Rell left the spaceship. "Stay safe kid." Rell said as he closed the door to the shuttle and wiped out a tear from his eye. Rell couldn't hear Mira anymore but he could see her trying to break the glass on the ship. Now about 40 troopers was closing in on Rell. He quickly picked up his Rifle. The spaceship was now in the air but Rell could still be visible by Mira. She saw tons of bolts being fired towards Rell but also from him. Rell was one of the tuffets solider the republic has ever seen. But Mira dint love him for that. He was like a father for her. He saved her multiple times and took care of her when she thought no one would. However, she knew he wouldn't stand a chance against all of these soldiers. Rell was now hit on the solider by a bolt making it almost impossible for him to continue the fight. However, he didn't stop. Rell continued to fight and had now eliminated about 10 soldiers, all of them was republic ones- his friend but not any longer. All of them was completely controlled by the *voice*. All of these troopers had completely lost their comparison and didn't care a thing about their previous friend. Rell knew he wouldn't survive this, he knew they would kill him if they got the chance. However, the only thing Rell wanted, was to survive until Mira was out of reach, so she didn't have to see him being brutally killed. Unfortunately this wouldn't be the case now. Rell was now completely surrounded by troops and within a few seconds he would be killed. "It's been an honor" Rell now said quietly to himself as the troopers were about to fire when everything suddenly started to freeze for Mira as she looked out of the window and screamed "NOOOOOO!" Believing this would be the last thing she would see of her best friend. However, after a few second of closed eyes and wiping out most tears she looked out once again. She could now hardly see Rell anymore mostly because of the tears but also because she came further and further from him every second. However, all of the soldiers was completely gone and where they had previously been was now only ash. It seemed that in the moment her powers had been so strong and controlled that she killed thirty solider in less then a second.
"Thank you..." Rell said holding his left hand on his right shoulder. "How did you do that?" Rell continued as he looked up on Mira's spaceship but got interrupted by the ship suddenly and quickly jumped into hyperspace. Mira was now safe and on her way to Coruscant.
"This is Rell Goobrill from the galactic republic special force: Black-Squad. We need help..." Rell said through the holo-terminal. "This is Kara Ydlo from the Republic military HQ, what can I do for you?" Someone answered, the voice filled Rell with hope. Hope he hadn't felt in a very long time...
