2013:

~Alaska's P.O.V.~

I called up Lauraine. I hoped she was awake. It was 8:43am in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; where I was. Lauraine had moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada a couple years back, but we were still best friends.

"Whaddup," murmured Lauraine sleepily. "Oh yeah. You better have sent me bacon for waking me up at 7 blah in the morning..." Something told me she had gotten up just because I had called. Scratch that, almost everything told me that she had gotten up just 'cause I called.

"You know how yesterday was my 18th?" I exclaimed excitedly into my phone.

Lauraine was starting to sound more awake now. She responded, "yeah...?"

I babbled on, "well this morning, I checked my YouTube and shizz, and I. HIT. ONE. MILLION. SUBS."

"OH EM GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ALLAY I'M SO HAPPY FOR YEWWWWWWWW!!!!" she screamed into my ear. She was DEFINITELY awake now. Lauraine rambled on, "ASDFGHJKL AL YOU DESERVED IT!!! YOU LEGIT PUT SOOOO MUCH EFFORT INTO YOUR VIDEOS, IT'S JUST ASDFGHJKL!"

I chuckled. "Well, if it wasn't thanks to you, I would never have started my YouTube in the first place. Plus, you were the one who thought of my amaz name!"

"Pfft, I know, I'm soooooo fab aren't I?" I could totally imagine Lauraine hair flipping right about now. "Aaanyways, Ima go now because you woke me up at 7 something in the morning, but for a good cause, but I'm still tired."

"Alright, byeee!" I said into the phone. I hung up and did my morning routine, I know it was really early, but I wanted to make a video since I had to upload one tomorrow anyway. Luckily my bedroom walls were soundproof, because other people in this apartment building would NOT be happy to hear me yelling at my camera bright n' early in the morning.

For my outfit, I wore my all black tshirt from Roots and a pair of medium wash blue skinny jeans. Nothing too fancy, considering it was almost 9 in the morning.

I let my wet hair dry a bit as I set up my equiptment. When I was done, my hair was still slightly damp, so I just threw my hair up into a pony tail and then started recording.

Once I was done, I edited it quickly and ran downstairs for breakfast. No one was downstairs, because I bought a small little apartment to myself. As I opened the fridge for some orange juice, I noticed some small writing on the calender for November 9th. It said "Moving to LA, Cali!" I was actually gonna keep this apartment here, for when I visit. I should manage to pay for everything fine, considering I earn some decent income from YouTube (I donate 15% to charity (: !!) I had bought a much bigger apartment in LA though, plus it was fully furnished and I had already shipped some extra stuff to the apartment. I was sooooo exciteeeed!

After breakfast, I quickly tweeted: "@alaskaisstargazing: OMG HIT 1M SUBS ON YOUTUBE LIKE WHAAAT?!?!?!?!" Then I followed up with "@alaskaisstargazing OMF SERIOUSLY THOUGH, THANKS GUYS!!! More news: I'm moving to LA, Cali in 2 weeks, TO MY EDMONTONIAN STARGAZERS I LOVE Y'ALL SO MUCH!!!" and "@alaskaisstargazing AIGHT SO... to all my Edmonton stargazers, my departure gate is gate 10 and I'll be there a couple hours early (8-9am) to meet y'all!". Then, for my LA fans, I tweeted, "@alaskaisstargazing don't worry LA! Ima meet y'all at arrival gate 14, 12:30-1:30pm Cali time! Maybe there'll be some YouTube buddies there!"

I screenshotted the tweets, made a collage and put it on Instagram as well. Suddenly, I got a notification from Twitter. Ricky Dillon, one of the O2L boys, had tweeted something: "@rickypdillion: we all agree that our fave ppl are CANADIYUHNS, as @alaskaisstargazing spells it! They're so nice and well... FAB! #canadiyuhnsrule #EH!"
