Chapter 20:Gynaecologist

Giovanni's POV

"What? " I asked my wife not believing what I'm seeing

" I thought our baby...... " I said already knowing what the end of the sentence will be

" Not really so in my belly there was triplets but one of the triplets died so we are only left with twins" Elena said explaining to me

"Are you serious? " Looking at her like she was crazy

" Dead serious " She said

I was so happy I picked her up and spun her around

" Umm. Gio that's enough I'm gonna throw up" Elena said then I immediately put her down

She kissed me on the cheek. Everyone was cheering for us

"So was this all part of your acting, the mood swings? " I asked her

" Well my dear husband, half of it was all an act" She said while laughing

"I promise I'll be with you every step of your pregnancy babe" I told her

"I love you Gio" She said. I kissed her softly on the lips "And I love you more kitten"

****Two weeks later****

Elena's POV

The past few weeks have been good, a lot of vomiting and a bit of mood swings. But Gio is taking good care of us. Today I'm going to the gynaecologist for a checkup

I drove myself to the doctor although Gio didn't want it

"Hi, how are you" The gynae asked

"I'm good thank you" I replied

"Okay I'm Dr Smith and I'll be your doctor for this while pregnancy " She said with a smile

After what seemed like years she finally spoke up " Mrs Mendez I'm sorry to say your children have to be born before they are 8 months " She said

" But I'm only 2 months" I replied
She nodded

"There's something wrong with your womb, so they have to be born earlier than expected or else they might die in your womb"

I almost burst in tears "Dr what do you mean?" I asked

"There a possibility, you can never be pregnant again but it's not 100% so don't stress about it" She said

After the appointment I drove around town, looking for my babies clothes. I was an emotional wreck, I kept looking for nothing

Everyone has been calling and I finally switched off my phone. At 8:30 pm, I finally drove back home. I walked in and all I heard were people screaming

"Where have you been? " Was all I heard

"Leave me alone!!"  I shouted and walked to my room, took a shower and went to bed while silently crying

"Elena I was worried sick about you what if something happened to my children? Stop being childish and tell me what's wrong" Gio demanded answers

I immediately shot up and sat up straight
"You know what, all you care about is your children! You don't take my feelings into consideration and right now I'm on the verge of having my babies die and me possibly not being able to be pregnant ever, so do what makes you sleep at night! "  I told him angrily

Giovanni's POV

What Elena just told me was heart breaking, she's so pure she doesn't deserve all that happening to her. All I think about is my children and not thinking about her I was being very inconsiderate. I need fresh air

Elena's POV

He walked out, just like that like a coward. I look out of the window and he drove out. I cried myself to sleep I just couldn't

*****Next morning *****

So Gio didn't sleep at home I wonder where he is. Speak of the devil then he walked in still wearing yesterday's clothes

"We need to talk" He said

" About yesterday sorry for shouting St you" I said

"No, I should apologise, you are still young and I was just being an inconsiderate bustard. You are my wife I should support you through thick and thin, please forgive me" Gio said

I hugged him and whispered "I forgive you"
