Clark Kent x Batman (Bruce Wayne x Superman)

Family time ftw

The Batman and Superman scandal had passed Bruce and Clark decided a family day was in order. Although Gotham was constantly in danger and the world needed Supermans help they had promised to make time for each other and their families. 

That's why both families were now filling up the living room of the Wayne mansion. When the couple themselves walked in the living room was a war one. Dick had found his way on the chandelier and was currently getting filmed by Barbara, who had ditched her role as the responsible one and started to have fun. Jason, for some reason, was getting chased around by Krypto and Titus the family dogs. Looking around Bruce spotted Damian clutching an empty pack of dog treats and laughing hysterically while watching the chase. 'That explains it' Bruce thought to himself and went a bit further in. Jon and Kara were chatting with Alfred and ignoring everyone else in general. Tim and Kon were sitting on a loveseat near some bookshelves. Every once in a while Kon would whisper something to Tim and the latter would blush furiously, making Kon smile. 

"How long before they get together?" Clark asked his lover, who only shrugged. "They're young. Give it some time.". As they went further they spotted Stephanie and Cass setting up Netflix and picking out movies to watch. It looked like Steph was trying to get something, but before she could Cass had already picked it up and started running away with it. Upon closer inspection, Bruce recognised it as Stephanie's phone. While running up the stairs Cass had managed to trip and land on her stomach. Stephanie proceeded to rush over and take back her phone and doing a victory dance. 

"Alright. Enough!" Bruce called out. Slowly everyone cleaned off and either took their places on the several couches or went to grab snacks and drinks and set them on the tables. Damian and Jon had chosen to sit on a couch next to Alfred and Jason. Dick and Barbara shared one with Kara, Cass and Stephanie. Lastly, Bruce and Clark sat in one loveseat, while Tim and Kon took up the other. The table in front of them all was filled with snacks, drinks and cups. 

It was somewhat dark outside because getting every person to attend was difficult. They had to make sure the city was protected while they were gone and arrangements needed to be made to clear their schedule. Diana and a few others had agreed to keep an eye on Gotham and Superman made sure that it was safe for him to leave. He had also warned Lois about his absence. 

They started the night with some comedies, that Cass and Steph picked out previously. Later in the night, they moved on to some new horror movies which in turn gave Tim and Kon a reason to curl up together with the blankets that they brought out earlier. Seeing this, Bruce and Clark grinned at each other. They were happy that the boys had found love. 

Sometime later all the movies had ended. A barely awake Clark looked around. Tim and Kon had happily passed out cuddling. Damian and Jon had somehow gotten on the floor to cuddle up with their pets and were sleeping next to each other. Jason was sprawled out on the couch with no Alfred in sight. Dick and Barbara had left some time earlier leaving Cass, Kara and Steph to share the big couch, which they proceeded to pull out. They had also found pillows and gone to sleep. Bruce, however, had his head resting on Clark's chest. He was asleep. 

Out of the corner of his eye, Clark spotted Alfred who was silently moving to his own bedroom. "Goodnight Alfred," he said quietly to not disturb the others. "Goodnight master Clark" came the silent reply. Deciding against staying in the loveseat, Clark slowly rose, holding his sleeping lover to his chest and headed for the master bedroom. After quietly placing Bruce on the bed he put on his PJs and joined Bruce in bed. "Goodnight love," he whispered to Bruce, who whispered back "Goodnight". 

Their lives were busy and hard to manage but as long as they had each other to wake up to they could manage it just fine. After all who else could they cause a media meltdown with?
