New Arrival!

In this chapter Ochaco meets a new girl. She tries to help her find where she needs to go and gets to know a little about her during this!

Ochaco lazed on the couch like what she usually did when she had nothing to do. Sure she had homework or work to do in cases like these, but this time she managed to finish everything that could keep her busy.

Ochaco worked part-time at a café. Yaoyorozu was already worried for Ochaco since she always works extra on her own accord. She shouldn't get Yaoyorozu more worked up by going to work now. Ochaco had finished her shifts ages ago.

Ochaco groaned loudly in frustration and boredom and decided to go out and get some fresh air. She quickly pulled on a pair of tight jeans and left.

Ochaco flinched when she heard an angry yell when she slammed her door. She waited for her apartment neighbour, Bakugo, to open his door to shout at her. It was a routine.

"I thought I fucking told you to stop slamming your door!"

Even though Ochaco was expecting it she still flinched.

"Jeez, calm down, it was an accident!" said Ochaco while smiling widely.

"It better have been an accident, round face." grumbled Bakugo before slamming his own door just as loudly as Ochaco did.

Ochaco rolled her eyes when he slammed his door. She giggled at the same time. He was such a hypocrite.

Ochaco skipped down the many stair quickly and finally opened the door outside to the fresh air.

Ochaco took a deep breath and her cheeks started getting cold from the breeze. She checked her phone, which was in her back pocket, to see what time it was.

She didn't even look at the time properly before spotting a flash of green. Ochaco looked up to clearly see what that was.

It was a cute, lost looking, girl. She looked about 17 years old. Ochaco had never seen her before around here. It must've been a newcomer since Ochaco knew everyone in this town.

"Oh hi! You must be new here! I could help you find the place you need to go to if you're lost." Ochaco said with a big smile. She waved to the smaller girl.

The green-haired girl looked behind her in surprise. Her eyes were huge and seemed extremely easy to get lost in. Ochaco nearly got lost in them herself if the girl hadn't spoke up.

"Oh, uh.. Yeah I'm new and I need a little bit of help finding this address." The girl said when she looked with a scrunched up face at her phone.

Ochaco quickly made her way to the girl who wasn't that far away.

"Oh okay! What's the address?" Ochaco questioned as she tried to look as happy as she could.

Tsuyu flashed her phone screen at Ochaco. Ochaco examined the address before letting out a little 'oh'.

"Okay I know just where it is. It isn't too far from here, I could walk you there if you'd like!" Ochaco offered.

The other girl brought her finger up to her mouth and held it there. It looked like she was one of those actors on TV who were really contemplating something. Ochaco had a strong feeling that she's seen that pose done by another green-haired before. She couldn't remember at all.

"Thank you, I would really appreciate that. I would get hopelessly lost if not." said the girl suddenly and interrupting Ochaco's inner thoughts.

"M'kay! Follow me!", Ochaco exclaimed. She walked across the pathway and waited for the traffic lights to turn green.

The girl caught up to Ochaco and gingerly pressed the button for the traffic lights before Ochaco could.

"Sorry I just really like buttons" the girl said. She looked away with a slight blush when Ochaco started laughing.

This girl was too cute.

"What's your name? Mine's Uraraka Ochaco, you can call me Uraraka-chan."

"My name is Asui Tsuyu, but everyone calls me Froppy." Asui said answering Ochaco's question.

Ochaco giggled before asking, "Why Froppy?"

Asui seemed to look confused at Ochaco before shaking her head.

"It's just some username." Asui said.

Ochaco waited for further explanation but left it at that when Asui didn't say anything else.

The two girls crossed the road once the light turned green.

"So are you going to the highschool here?" Ochaco asked, trying to learn more about Asui.

Once they reached the other pathway, Asui quickly glanced at Ochaco before looking back at her feet.

"Yeah, I am. I'm not really looking forward to it though." Asui admitted.

Ochaco let out a loud laugh and grinned and replying.

"Pshh I don't think anyone is. I haven't even finished all my homework and school starts next week. I'm getting stressed just thinking about it!" Ochaco exclaimed.

Asui smiled at that.

Ochaco then suddenly stopped in front of a small apartment building.

"We've arrived at the address~" Ochaco said in a silly voice.

When Asui giggled at that, Ochaco felt a little blush form on her cheeks. Which was pretty weird.

"Thank you so much for showing me the way"

Ochaco frantically waved her hands.

"No no, thank you for making my day more interesting! It was no problem anyway."

Asui chuckled again and opened the door to the small apartment block, but before Asui could disappear into the block Ochaco quickly yelped.

"Oh! Wait a second!" Ochaco exclaimed just before she whipped out her phone.

Asui's face fell once she saw Ochaco's phone. Ochaco had no idea why but Asui didn't look upset for long.

"Well, if you'd want, we could exchange numbers and I could show you around sometime this week!" Ochaco finally explained with a beaming face.

Asui looked surprised but quickly took out her phone in response to Ochaco.

The two girls exchanged numbers and went their separate ways. Ochaco went back home feeling happier than normal. Ochaco told herself that it was because she made a new friend, but Ochaco did think Asui was pretty cute.
