"It's an emergency, Osteoburst." Aizawa said into the phone.

"Using my hero name, huh? After all this time away, you finally contact me, and it's a business call. Must be serious, Eraser." A female voice mocked with slight agitation in her voice.

"I apologize, Dokuro." Dokuro Kirishima. The older sister of Reijin's best friend and long time friend of Shota Aizawa. Probably the biggest help that Shota and Reijin had throughout their lives.

"It's been two years since you've contacted me. You do realize that. Don't you?"

"Yes, and I do apologize for that. Now if you'll let me explain—"

"I'm pretty busy here in the states. You might wanna make it quick, Aizawa. " She continues to taunt.

"Cut the sarcasm. I have something serious to discuss with you. Emon is back. And I think he's here for Reijin."

"What?" The woman on the other end of the line was left speechless. She was there for Emon's last visit. She's aware of exactly what he wanted back then. Taking that into consideration, Shota was probably not too far off. She was currently doing hero work in the United States. She left her home city in Japan to escape her own troubles and start a new life elsewhere. Shota was usually a very mature man, but when his best friend and closest confidant left him so suddenly, he felt betrayed. Shota would never admit it, but he felt like he never would have been able to keep Reijin and raise her as his own if Dokuro Kirishima wasn't in his life. Her presence almost gave the illusion of having a normal family. After all these years, she's still his first choice to contact when there's a problem with his child. He continued to explain his fear to the woman.

"If you think about the timing of both of his visits, it all has to do with a monumental moment in Reijin's quirk ability. He came when it first manifested. And now when she's learned to use it well enough to get into U.A." Aizawa explained.

"Do you think that he's going to try to take her again?" His old friend questioned. She only got silence in return. He let out a deep sigh.

"I do. He'll try, but he won't succeed. She is my little girl. Not his."

"That's the spirit. And you have people who are going to be there for you and her. I'm going to be there. I'm coming back to Japan."

  "You'd do that?" He questioned.

"I'd like to think that I played a part in that child's upbringing as well. You shouldn't even question if I'd do this or not. Of course I would."

"Thank you. Thank you so much. I owe you."

"Yeah, you definitely do. And I'm not letting the fact that this is the first call I've gotten from you in two years go without consequences. We'll discuss that when I get back, asshole."

"Right . . . Well, I'll see you then. Goodbye, Dokuro."

"Bye." She was still angry, but for the sake of Reijin, she'd let it slide. This time.

A few days have passed and have remained relatively normal for Shota and Reijin Aizawa. The two had a regular weekend off and prepared to go back to school on Monday.

As Reijin walked the halls, she heard a voice shout from behind her.

"Hey, Bitchy!" She knew exactly who it was.

"He did not just say that!" She thought. She walked faster.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" The girl stopped.

"I told you, Bakugou! I'm not going to acknowledge you when you refer to me with those derogatory nicknames!" She seethed.

"You just did." The boy almost looked like he was smirking. Reijin's cheeks reddened as she looked away.
