It's been a year since Matt was released from the hospital. He made a full recovery. He and Danni have been in marriage counseling since he was released. They renewed their vows six months ago. Everything went on as planned. Matt faked a black out and scared everyone. Just to stand up and say "Gotcha". His mother still won't let him live that one down. The doctors stated it was safe for Matt to travel again. Danni and Matt were having dinner with their parents
"So It's been quite a year for you two huh?" Derrick stated
"Oh yes it has." Matt replied
"But we've made it through. I now know we can over come anything." Danni said
"How is counseling going?" Cindy asked
"Excellent. We have made some serious progress." Danni said
"That's great so we have an idea to run passed you two."
"Yeah?" Danni and Matt said together
"How about another couples trip? Only this time on land." Rebecca said and presented them with a week long couples retreat in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
"We figured that you two could use it. Some offer as last year, we'll take the kids and you two go." John said. Danni and Matt exchanged a look.
"Deal!" They said together. They enjoyed the rest of their dinner and evening. Knowing that all was going to be just fine. Danni and Matt would live in endless love and watch their kids to grow up to be amazing people and even better partners.
