Okay, so I just wanna take the time out and thank every single person that has commented, voted and read this book.
It wasn’t easy when I started but when you guys comment it really motivates me to keep going.
I know I kind of finished the book in an awkward way and that’s something as a writer that I need to work on still.
YES, Worst Behavior is the first book I have ever finished and I’m so happy that it got so much recognition.
All the comments made me laugh because all of you are super funny when you get in your feelings about a situation and that’s exactly what I wanted to happen.
To know that people are affected by my work lets me know that I’m doing something right.
And again with the ending I know it was kind of sucky and I should have taken my time but I’m too excited about starting the sequel because I know it’s gonna be amazing.
If you haven’t noticed that my writing from the first chapter all the way up to the last chapter has changed tremendously and it’s all because of you guys. You really helped me shape out this story and motivate myself to become a better writer and I can’t thank you enough.
But, I just wanted to touch on a few topics that I feel I need to talk about.
The Age
Yes Shayne and Tavi are almost a decade apart and I see that some of you may have a problem with that… And that’s okay; everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But let’s not forget that America’s “Favorite” couple Jay&Bey are a decade and some years apart. I know they met when she was 20 but that’s besides the point. Love is love no matter the gender or age (And no im not saying it’s okay for a 29 years old man and a 13 year old girl to date cause that’s just… ew) But what I’m saying is that eight years isn’t that far apart and some of you have parents who are far in age as well. But again everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Dating
Some of you really hoped and are still hoping for this next book that Shayne and Tavi becomes an item. But I personally don’t want them together, yet! I still think that Tavi needs to work on a lot of things with herself and Shayne as well. But maybe they might try it out in the next book…. (; who knows?
Updating
I’ve updated frequently because one: it’s the summer time and I have a lot of time on my hands. Two: because you guys comments really motivate me to give you more so it’s hard for me to resist it lol. Third: I was so determined to finish this book before the end of the summer. And I got to accomplish that. But when September comes this next book won’t have as many frequent updates because I’m a college student and my studies come first, always! But I’ll try my best to give an update at least once a week. I won’t be like these other writers and make you wait months because I personally hate waiting months for an update because I’ll end up forgetting what the book is about anyways. But bare with me when September comes because it won’t be the same.
Sequel/Series:
Some people aren’t really a fan of the whole “sequel” idea but I wanna go ahead and move forward with it. This book only touched on a few things and I feel like I still have more to write about. If you know you’re not gonna read the sequel then that’s fine, I just hope you enjoyed this first book. And if you’re gonna read the sequel then I hope you enjoy it as much as you enjoyed this one.
Storyline:
This was obviously an urban storyline and that’s all I write is urban books. But this book had a lot to do with Shayne and his business and not too much of him and Tavi until the end. I’m determined to have this next book relatable for some of you. The title alone just makes me cringe because it’s one of my favorite songs by drake and although im not in a relationship right now it still gets me in my feelings lol. The writing structure of the next book will be different and the point of view will be written in third person instead of first person for my own desire. I feel as though I write more descriptive and give more details in third person. But all in all this book will be way better then WB.
But again thank you to those that have stuck through this with me and to those that have just started reading a few days ago and is already caught up… Like Kevin Durant would say “you’re the real MVP” (:
And I wanna know who yall hated the most Cheyenne, Mariah, or Trina (And trust me this isn’t the last time you’ll see them)
And the sequel Doing It Wrong is up now ! (:
