Chapter 1- Have You Seen Me?

Nancy's POV:

"Oh, come on Nance. I know you love him." Barb said. "What? It's not a thing. We just....made out a couple times." I said, trying to convince Barb I wasn't dating (y/n). "We just.....made out a couple times." Barb taunted. Then, there he was. "Hey (y/n)!" Barb said. "Hello ladies!" He replied. I gave him a look. "What?" he said. "You're an idiot, (y/n)(l/n)." We both laughed. "I'll see you later babe." He said. "Bye!" Barb and I both said at the same time as we headed to algebra class.

(y/n's) POV:

I walked down the hallway towards my next class, looking down at the floor, when I accidentally bumped into Nancy's ex, Steve Harrington. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" "Sorry! Geez!!!". Steve has been a complete jerk since Nancy broke up with him. Apparently they had been through a lot together. I kind of felt bad for the guy. I then saw my cousin, Jonathan Byers. "Hi Jonathan!" I said. "Hey" he said quietly. He was hanging up a missing poster for someone. Wait. Oh no! My cousin, Will? "Jonathan, Will's missing?" I freaked out. "I don't wanna talk about it."

I went on my phone and texted Nancy.

Me: Nancy!!! I need to talk to u.
😘Babe😘: What? What happened?
Me: My cousin is missing!
😘Babe😘: Jonathan is missing?
Me: No! His brother, Will.
😘Babe😘: Oh no! What happened?
Me: My Auntie Joyce said he was just gone one morning.
😘Babe😘: We need to help find him.
Me: I know. I'll brb. Love you babe!😍

I texted Jonathan.

Me: Jonathan, how are you holding up?
Jon📷: I feel awful.
Me: I'm really sorry.
Jon📷: Don't be.
Me: So, Nancy and I were just talking.
Jon📷: Isn't Nancy your new gf?
Me: Yes.
Jon📷: And yet, I have never had one.
Me: I know someone.
Jon📷: No, you don't.
Me: Anyways, Nancy and I have agreed to help you and Auntie Joyce find Will.
Jon📷: You don't know what you're signing yourself up for. I'm gonna go look for him in the forest, both day and night.
Me: Nancy and I are willing to help.
Jon📷: Whatever, but if you get scared, go home. I'm going to find my brother. End of story.
Me: Ok then.

I put down my phone. Geez, Jonathan! He seems really serious about finding Will. Sometimes I wish I wasn't an only child. Anyways, Nancy called very soon after. I picked up the phone. "Hello?" an unfamiliar voice said. "Who is this?" I replied. "I am Karen Wheeler, Nancy's mother. Nancy has diseapeared." My eyes widened. "To our house, now." She hung up. "No no no no no no no!!!" I screamed. I rushed out of my house and ran towards Nancy's house. When I ran past the forest, a 7 foot tall figure emerged in front of me. "HELP ME!!!" I cried out as everything went black.
