Chapter 2- The Upside Down

(y/n)'s POV:

I woke up. Did I die? Was I in heaven? There were so many questions. It smelled awful. I sat up and looked around. Holy crap!!! The road I was running on! And there was the forest! It was like the real world, but it was cold, dark, slimy. There were root-looking things everywhere. A particle that looked like snow, but it wasn't snow fell from the sky. "Where am I?" I asked myself. There were no people, and it was awfully quiet. "HELP!!! HELP ME!!!" I hear all of the sudden. I followed the noise. It grew louder. "PLEASE!!! MOM!!! JONATHAN!!! ANYONE!!! PLEASE HELP!!!". I found the source of the noise. It was Will. "Will?" I said. He turned around. "(y/n)! How did you get here?" Will asked. "I don't know!" I replied. "A super tall thing came at me and I blacked out, and then I was here!" "The Demogorgon." Will said.
"The what?" "Come on, we gotta get out of here!". Will grabbed my hand. "Will! Wait! You were missing! Everyone was looking for you!" I said. "I was attacked by that monster too and brought here. I've been hiding from it for so long." I needed to tell him about his family. About Nancy. "Will, Aunt Joyce and Jonathan were so worried, and I found you. But Nancy....". "Who's Nancy?" He interrupted. "My girlfriend." Will's eyes widened. "You're with Mike's sister?". We we're interrupted by a low growl. Will mouthed to stay calm and follow him. We walked very quickly and we got to a deformed version of Auntie Joyce's house. "Its like a deathly version of the real world." I said. We went into the living room and sat on the couch. "We should be safe here." Will said. Al the sudden, Will realised there were Christmas lights strung everywhere and letters of the alphabet on the wall behind him. "Will? Will are you there?" We heard. "Is that..." "My mom." Will touched a light on the ceiling and it lit up.

Joyce's POV:

"Will!!!" I said with joy. He was there I just saw a light blink. "Honey, what is going on?". The wall lights started blinking.

The wall spelled out.

"Who?" I said.

Nancy's POV:

I woke up in a tree. Yup, in a tree. It was like the forest, but a dark version. That thing that came at me. It must be the cause of why I'm here. I couldn't talk, there was something connected to my mouth. I tried to pull it off but It didn't budge. I felt awful. I could barely move. I faintly called out "(y/n)!". I then heard footsteps as I passed out.
