He looked at me for a deep moment, but walked away. He dragged a chair in front of me. He was thinking, and I could see the gears turning in his head.
"Alright, so are you going to tell me or not?" He asked. But I heard him mumbled something to himself about getting some favours done if I don't tell.
"Nah, I think I'll stay here. The white walls are so interesting!" I said sarcastically. I don't think he was impressed by the answer I gave. His eyes scrunched up, a light pushing itself into his eyes, as if he realized something.
"Alright, then how do you feel about this?" He said, tossing three files onto think air. I looked in shock, the files seemed to be floating into midair. He rolled his eyes and pressed a button on a remote, and suddenly a wooden table appeared. My eyes widened as my shackled dropping off. I rubbed my wrists and picked up the files, hesitantly. I knew there was no escape, this building seems to heavily guarded.
I picked up the files, handling them in my hands. I looked at them all carefully, making sure I missed nothing important. Teacher, therapist, and a secret agent, great. But why would he hand me all three? It's not like I can do all three, especially not teaching. Me teaching a class is a horrible idea, if you want everything spelt wrong.
"Am I meant to think anything of these? Which one of these do you want me to do? It's not like it's that hard. You think a job will get me to talk?" I talked, trying my hardest not to burst out laughing. But I couldn't help the chuckle that came out of my mouth, and his face made it seem like my sassiness was acid that will burn me alive.
"Oh no, no no no. Not one, all three. I don't think one job will tire you and make you tell me, but all three definitely will. And if you don't within a year, I guess I'll just have to add another one." He shrugged. My eyes widened, shocked. I glared at him, standing up. I leaned towards him, he only gave me a blank stare.
"How in the hell am I suppose to juggle three jobs? And I'm not hiding anything, so you are just going to be piling more jobs on me!" I shouted at him. He pushed me back into my seat, but didn't have me recharged. Obviously, he wanted to do this with a good approach. If he tied me down, it would've made me much madder and he knows it.
"Simple, teacher on work days, Agent on weekends and therapist the rest of the time you are available. Also know you will be teaching social studies and drama in an elementary to jr high school." (Sorry but I may have a different school system as you.) He shrugged. Alright, at least it's not language arts or math.
"How much will I be payed?" I asked. I know, stupid question, but who wouldn't ask that? He seemed to be shocked at my question.
"Unfortunately, you will be getting the pay checks, so I do not know. Although if you break anything, you will have to fix it using your money. And we will be watching what you buy. No video games and whatnot. You may only have a phone." He instructed. He should know that I don't remember rules, or listen to them.
"Alright, fine. I'm confused though about one thing, why these three jobs? Are they chosen for a reason or were they specifically chose for me?" I asked. He stood up and sighed. He rubbed his shaved head that only had tiny hairs on it.
"I had some favours that I needed to fulfill. You start teaching next month, you start your Agent training today, and you practice your therapist job after training." He demanded. I sighed and slumped in my chair as he left the room.
I sat there for another while, not knowing what to do. I guessed that someone would come tell me when I need to begin my training, why wouldn't they? It's not like I have a choice in any of this. Iris messaging was to risky for the position I am in, I'm just lucky that the person that caught me was a demigod. Obviously the big guy eyesight was covered by the mist. I jumped when some person came in. The boy had brown hair that was shaved at the sides, letting it outgrow in the front. He was a little shorter than me but he was much more muscular.
"I will be your trainer, I'm Alec, and I know who you are. I'm not nice so don't be expecting mercy or pity. Get up now, follow me. First you will be getting a quick snack, and then you are training." He said with an evil smirk. I gulped at the thought of what he would make me do. But he's just a mortal, right? My demigod training has led up to this, right?
After I ate, we headed outside to a training area, and I was nervous. There were pull up bars, bench press, weights, ankle weights, a running course, everything that could kill a man. I stared at it for a moment, before looking at the guy. No wonder he is so muscular.
"First, I wanna see how much weight you could carry. What's your weight?" He asked. I shrugged.
"I don't know. Never checked." I told him. He rolled his eyes. He dragged me over to a weight machine that also measured my height. He jotted down some things after a moment.
"Now, your training begins."
