Lucas' Point of view:

Let me tell you how I met Kevin Johnsons.

Throwback to the first month of college.

College has just awfully began and the first week of class was pretty uneventful. However, the second week was when everything started. I saw this guy, he was a classmate of mine. His name was Kevin Johnsons. I was with my friend Kamila, whose height is 5 feet, skin is fair, hair is long straight black, and her voice is so deep for a girl. We're at the waiting shed of our school under the bright sunlight, waiting for our fellow classmates so we can enter the school gymnasium together as a class to attend the annual welcoming orientation of my university. I wasn't enjoying waiting so much because I'm still a shy-type because I don't know my classmates yet. Then he came, the very handsome Kevin. I caught a glance of his beautiful pair of sparkling cute eyes. I blushed like an overripe tomato the first time I saw it and I wasn't aware that I stared at it for almost a minute.

The moment we noticed that we're almost complete, we entered the ginormous gymnasium and we were one of the early birds so we get choose which side of the gym to sit down. Kamila and I sat down on the bleaches to where Kevin's group is.

"Who's this guy, Kamila? Your boyfriend?" Kevin joked while pointing at me.

Kamila just laughed and I also laughed by his joke.

I sat between them and then I talked to Kamila about the movies that I've watched last summer.

"I'm really impressed by J.K. Rowling for writing and directing such beautiful story. Now, I can't take the spells out of my head, sometimes I use them when I'm very mad!" I joked.

"Well, I'm planning to watch it also, I've just requested for a copy of the whole eight films from a friend of mine. But anyway, have you watched Percy Jackson? I mean, that story is so relatable to Harry Potter. For one, Harry and Percy are of the same age. They both didn't know that they have remarkable powers until discovering it one day." She replied.

"Well I think I'll watch it anytime soon. Wait, do you read books? Oh my gosh! Did you know that there are so many details in the Harry Potter book series that were omitted on the film adaptation? I'm glad that I watched the movie first before reading the book because honestly, I'd be disappointed by not seeing things in the movie as to how I've envisioned it in the book. Also, I don't know how am I going to imagine the settings and happenings that were described in the book. They're just like so detailed and my mind is not that creative to imagine such things!" I said cheerfully while Kamila laughed.

"Yes, I read books! In my case, I was excited about the movie adaptation of Percy Jackson because I've already finished the whole set of Percy Jackson books. However, there's still no news about when the next Percy Jackson movie will be released. There's rumor that Netflix will reboot the movie franchise and I'm just so thrilled about it!" She said enthusiastically.

With that, I asked for an e-book copy of the Percy Jackson series for me to be able to read it and we remained silent for a while waiting for the orientation for first years to start.

Five minutes later and I was already bored and so as my classmates. We had to sign for attendance and there wasn't anybody in our class that had yellow paper so I brought out mine and we started to make a list of names and signed them.

"Nice pen you got there." Kevin teased, pointing to my G-tec pen that cost quite a lot for a student.

I didn't know what to say to his joke so I just laughed then handed him the attendance sheet. To which he brought out the same pen as mine.

"Oh you also got one! You're such a silly kid for teasing me!" I remarked then Kamila and I laughed while he smiled cutely.

We waited for another 5 minutes and there's still no sign of commencement. Then out of nowhere, I decided to talk with Kevin.

"Do you love watching movies?" I asked curiously.

"Of course, there are movies that I love. But sometimes, I get bored by watching so I just let it play then I'll watch it when it's in the interesting part." He replied joyfully.

"Oh my gosh! How do you freaking understand the movie then? I mean most of the important details are in the beginning of the movie." I said while laughing about his dumbness.

"I get bored a lot you know." He replied.

"Well then I suggest that next time you should watch the introduction part so you'll fully understand a movie" I said as-a-matter-of-factly.

"Okay then, well tell me about the movies that you loved." He demanded curiously.

"Well, aside from watching and reading the Harry Potter series last summer. I've also watched couple of trilogies like Maze Runner and Hunger Games. And as of the moment, I am planning on watching the Divergent series." I replied cheerfully while showing him a list on my phone of all the movies that I've watched last summer.

"That's quite a lot huh, you really had a busy summer. Well I've watched some of the movies that you mentioned and they're really fantastic." He said cheerfully.

"I know right! Jennifer Lawrence and Dylan O'Brien are the best young adult actor and actress out there! They're just so fierce, young, and bold." I said cheerfully.

We both laughed and I almost pinched his cheek because of his cuteness, it made me giggle.

Then the president of student council began speaking on the microphone and we took it as the start of the orientation.

So yeah, that's my very first conversation with him. It was quite joyful and I enjoyed it a lot because I've come to know how he speaks. His voice is so cool I could listen to it all day and he's just so damn handsome, tall enough, tan, incredibly sweet, and kind. My very standards for a potential partner.

But then I remembered, I need to guard my heart.
