Chapter 28: Fallback

This sucked. Obito was tired, and running out of chakra, her Sharingan was activated, not even enough chakra to activate her Kamui.

Pain. . .

The man was a god in a man's body, with power like this, she couldn't win. She could only take a few paths with her. She had already taken out three, the Preta Path, the Naraka Path, and the Asura Path, leaving her to face the Deva, Animal, and Human Paths.

Right now, she was stuck in the ground, due to an Almighty Push from the Deva Path, one of her ribs broken as she sat up, clenching her teeth as she tried to bite back a yelp of pain.

"Your pain, is nothing compared to mine." She heard a voice say. She looked up and saw the Deva Path looking at her, the Rinnegan boring deep into her own eyes, the Animal and Human Path standing next to him.

"Fuck off you puppeteer." She muttered, standing up, limping slightly. This was her grave. At least her daughter was safe, safe with Sasuke and Karin in the Leaf Village, which was a couple miles away.

"The former leader of the Akatsuki, being killed by one of their so called tools. It's funny to say the least." Pain said as he used another Almighty Push to shove her back into the ground, causing her to cough up blood. "After I kill you, I'll destroy the Hidden Leaf, I'll make them suffer for the Pain they have put me through, they helped kill Yahiko, and even made the man who killed Konan a monster before he died, and now, Obito Uchiha, they will die with you."

No, I can't let her die. I can't let her die. I can't let any of them die! She yelled in her head, pushing all of her chakra into one eye of the Sharingan, activating the Mangeykou and trying to Kamui Pain away in the Kamui dimension, but it failed, the swirling vortex barely sucking up anything but a few pieces of dirt.

"A futile attempt, but an attempt nonetheless." Pain said, before a chakra rod appeared in his hands as he jumped in front of Obito. "Now, die." He said as he brought the chakra rod down, only to be stopped but a single hand, his Rinnegan eyes widening as he saw a single Sharingan eye looking at him, the other eye closed with a scar over it.

"You, will, not, hurt, THEM!" A loud voice screamed before Nagato felt all his Paths except for the Deva Path be cut off at once. Pain looked up and saw a single man with red hair with red eyes with black slits standing there, tore up flesh and mechanical parts in his hands that were the remains of the Human and Animal Paths.

"Kurama, you can leave now, this is my fight." Kurama shrugged his shoulders before disappearing in a poof of smirk.

"Who are you?"

"You're nightmare." The man said, his mask barely muffling his voice before he kneed Pain in the stomach before back handing him out of the crater. Naruto turned around, looking Obito in the eyes.

"Sorry I'm late, Obito-chan." He said, eye smiling at her, getting her eyes to widen as she looked at Naruto before he jumped out of the crater, intending on finishing his fight.

"N-Naruto-kun?" She whispered, not feeling that chakra in a very, very long time.

Naruto landed in front of Pain, who was looking at him with wide eyes.

"You dare defy a God?" He questioned, raising his palm. Naruto made a few hand signs, his black gloves flashing quickly as he glared at Pain with his one open eye.

"I've defied the Shinigami when he tried to take my soul numerous times, a God? That's not much worse." Pain let a smirk come across his face.

"Let me show you true divinity!" He shouted. "Almighty Push!" A burst of gravity his Naruto like a train, but he slammed his hands into the ground, using chakra to stick to the ground and not be pushed away as wood sprouted from all sides of him, each sharp and going for Pain, who quickly jumped back, avoiding the stake-like wood as they crashed into the ground.

"I'm going to kill you for threatening my child, and my Obito." Naruto stated murderously as he walked forward, his Sharingan shifting into it's Mangekyou state, making Pain get a little nervous.

"You should be dead, Konan killed you." He whispered before he felt a sharp pain in his back, looking back and seeing Naruto there, the one in front of him slowly fading away.

"She almost did. All she did was this," Naruto took down his mask, revealing his scarred face before lifting it back up and grabbing Pain by the neck and slamming him into the ground. "The Kyuubi is going after your real body as we speak, all I really wanted was to make your friend die once again." Pain didn't flinch, before he grinned.

"Kabuto, now!" He shouted, making Naruto's eyes widen. Kabuto? What was he doing here? He whirled around, seeing the pure white man with snake like eyes with scale littering his body, a snake coming out of his stomach and horns out of his head.

"It's been awhile, Naruto." Kabuto spoke in a voice that would make little kids shiver. He then unsealed a scroll, letting a dead body hit the ground with a thud before making a few hand selas and slamming his hands into the ground, the body disappearing and a coffin slowly coming up.

"Kabuto, what did you just do?" Naruto whispered as the coffin lid fell to the ground, revealing a man in red armor with long, black hair that reached to back, the white in his eyes completely black as his Sharingan pierced the air.

"Just reviving the strongest shinobi to ever live, Madara Uchiha." Kabuto spoke. He then looked at Madara. "I've made you stronger than you were in your prime." The Uchiha scoffed.

"My power was not your doing, child." He spoke, his deep voice echoing in the coffin as he took a step out. Pain began laughing as he sat on the ground, his hands clasped together.

"You're going to regret letting the Kyuubi take his time, because I'll be dead before he gets here." Naruto turned around, a horrified look in his eye before Pain uttered a few words that chilled Naruto to the core.

"Rinne-Rebirth!" He shouted, and the cracked, black lines on Madara's skin glowed, before slowly disappearing, revealing smooth, alive skin.

Madara Uchiha was alive.

And done. How was it? Good? Bad? Tell meeee!

AND WE REACH THE FUCKING FINAL FIGHT FINALLY!

The fate of Konoha and Naruto's family hangs in the balance as Naruto vs. Madara comes to life, who will be triumphant?
