Chapter 28

*Caitlin's pov*

Luke took my hand as we made it to the lobby "Hey guys, Casey and Ashton are already in the Van we just have to wait for the rest, go ahead" John smiled motioning towards the car I signed and looked down, I opened the van door and went straight to the back were there was only 2 seats, I sat down and Luke sat beside me I pulled my seat belt over and buckled it "Caitlin I'm-" "Ashton save it" I said cutting him off looking out the window. once everyone made it into the van it went the driver and John at the front, in the first 2 seats it's was Ashton and Casey and in the middle row was Calum, Emily, Michael and then at the back was me and Luke. "you okay" Luke whispered I lifted my head from his shoulder and looked at him "yeah" I smiled he smiled and gave me a kiss. I laid my head back onto Luke's shoulder and played with his hand while listening to the little conversations going on around us. "Whatever's going on with you all, sort it out before we get to the interview. you have 3 hours" John said from the driver seat and the putting the window up dividing him from us, Michael signed and looked back at us "listen, I know you probably don't want to hear this but I am sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen I just wanted my friends back, you guys were so caught up together you forgot about us. yes we were being selfish but we just wanted to hang out with you like we use to, there's nothing I can change now but I am sorry and I do mean it" I nodded and gave him a small smile. I understand where he is coming from but how would he feel if me and Luke tried braking up him and Karla. Luke went into a conversation with Michael after accepting his apology. yes I accept Michael's but not the others. I looked down at Luke's hand and took it into my 2 playing with it because I know he likes when I do that, he gave me a quick smile turning back to Michael. I laid my head on his shoulder closing my eyes. I guess they thought I fell asleep because they started talking about me "dude, what's going on just because Caitlin is pissed off at us doesn't mean you have to" I heard Calum say "are you fucking kidding me Calum, you tried breaking us up of course I'm gonna be pissed off with all of you" Luke shot back "Luke, calm down we just wanted you guys to actually hang out with us instead of only caring about what each other is doing" Casey said that was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep. "Caitlin, babe wake up" Someone shook me I though it was Luke since the person said babe but I was shocked when I opened my eyes and saw Ashton, my eyes went wide and his did the same "I uhm sorry. uh Luke and everyone are inside you uh fell asleep I was uhm told to come get you" he stuttered out I nodded quickly and followed him out of the van. we walked in the hotel and towards the elevator he pushed the button and leaned against the wall I crossed my arms and starred at the door begging it to open as fast as it could, i don't know why Ashton called me babe but hearing it come from his mouth reminded me so much of when we dated and I missed it. wait no. the door opened and I moved my feet fast towards my room wanting to get away from him. I opened the room and Luke smiled at me "good sleep, babe" he asked wrapping his arms around my waist I was I shock from the word babe. "is everything alright, it looks like you saw a ghost" he laughed dropping his arms "I wish it was that" I mumbled taking my phone off the counter that I'm guessing he brought up. There was a knock on the door I let Luke answer it and walked around the hotel looking around. "Caitlin, it was John you have a meeting about something important so he said be ready in a hour" Luke said coming up behind me "just me" I questioned he nodded and took a drink from his bottle of water. I rushed to my room picking out cloths from my suit case to get ready. as I waited for John to say it was time to leave I sat confused of what they could possible want. "I'll see you later" I said walking passed Luke giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. I walked out of our hotel room and was met with John. we walked down to the lobby and Into a cab thankfully no fans knew we were even here yet. we pulled up to a big building and walked inside I followed close behind John still confused why I'm the only one here i followed him around the corner and into a room where about 5 other people were sitting 3 guys and 2 girls all looked around 40-50 years old John took a seat and I sat beside him "so Caitlin I guess your wondering why your here" John asked turning to me I nodded and looked at everyone in the room "we have had a long conversation and management thinks your career would be a lot better if you were a solo artist, now we know you love the girls but this is for your future you are good enough to be a solo artist the girls are holding you back" the old bald guy said my eyes almost popped out of my head because I was so shocked I shook my head immediately "you know I started this group with them and I am not leaving it, yes maybe it's better for me to be a solo artist but I couldn't handle it it's just not me" I shrugged "listen you don't have to give us a answer yet we will give you a week" I signed and nodded for the next hour they explained what I could do and what my future would exactly be if I did quit the group to become a solo artist.
