Like Cinderella, Elizabeth POV
My sisters really need to train their dog, sigh. When is my life going to change? I get that life is full of ups and downs but my life seems to never seem bright.
*Ding Dong*
"Lizzy get the door!" screeched my stepmother.
"Yes," I reply.
I open the door to see a messenger, which is very rare to receive.
"I have an invitation form the prince inviting you and your masters to the grandest ball, a ball where the crowned prince is to choose his bride. You must dress in your finest clothes and arrive at the castle six o' clock sharp. That is all." the messenger says while handing me the three invitations.
After that, he just walked off to the next house. I closed the door gently and turned around to face my stepmother.
"Hand me the invitations," she says snidely with a big smirk on her face.
I give her two of the invitations while hiding the third inside my smock. Heading back to work, I put the dog back in Lilian's room. Next, clean the kitchen floors. My life is super fun... I think my happily ever could be at the ball!!! Just maybe I will get noticed by some young lords or something!!! A girl could only dream...
So just a heads up... this is probably going to be updated every weekday because this is an assignment story.
