Like Prince Charming, Daric POV
"Where is she!?!" I yell at my guards.
"I'm sorry sir... we don't know. Those pirates are very clever but they did leave something... Something you should read" the captain said trembling.
I snatched the parchment out of his hands and read it. The passage made me really mad! I turned to my parents and read it aloud.
"My name is Captain Jack Ryder, I have captured your bride to be for a ransom. My crew and I need money to continue our journey but do not mistake us for weaklings! As you know we still have enough wit... we did just steal your wife to be! I will be, in two weeks, in Magnolia. You can meet me there if you wish to see her again! We will barter the price then.
See you soon, Captain Jack
P.S. Our old captain had died, you may know him, Captain Hook. So be prepared for something more than a ransom. Later old King!" I finished speaking.
My dad's face looked pale like he remembered a horrible past. My mother was glaring at her husband, she knows what happened.
"Dad, what does he mean?!" I said raising my voice, "he just stole my wife!"
"I never meant for this to happen! I will explain...Hook... well, he was a great ambassador for our kingdom and was about to be married to a girl named Sheila. I took an interest to her and things eventually became complicated... Every day after eleven pm I would sneak out to see her and well... make love. She got pregnant from me and Hook never... made love to her so he knew she was cheating on him. They ended it but he never knew it was me for a while. Eventually, she gave birth to two beautiful boys, one with curly blond hair... like me and the other will curly brown hair. One had blue eyes and the other had hazel. I choose the one who looked the most like me... you Daric."
"You mean I have a brother out there Dad? How could you do this to us?" I yelled.
"Daric..."
"How could you do this to me?" I whispered to myself.
I paced the floor, staring harshly at the floor. At last, I felt satisfied with my decision.
Turning to the guards I said, "We will pretend to do as they ask. We will meet them at Magnolia, give them the money, and take back my wife. Then once that has happened we will attack them full force, no pirate will life. Understood?"
"Good decision my boy!"
"Also lock the former king up. He is going to pay for all of his crimes against his kingdom."
"But sir" protested a guard.
"Just do it or else you are going to take his place."
"SON... DARIC... PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO ME, AFTER ALL, I'VE DONE FOR YOU!!!" yelled my father.
"Bye Dad." and with that, I walked up to plot out what to do with my twin brother... when I find him.
