The next day Jake bends over tydus in his hospital cot and gently shakes him Ja: wake up my little prince. It's officially your first day on this planet. Tydus starts crying Ja: sssshhhhhhhh tydus Jake picks him up and rocks him in his arms Tydus yawns then falls back asleep. Jake puts him back in his cot and just stands over admiring him Ja: Erika I can't believe it. I'm a dad Er: it's true what they say, once you hold your baby for the first time it's everlasting undying love Ja: ik The doctor comes in Doc: oh my he's a stunner isn't he Ja: Yep 6 pounds 4 ounces and healthy Doc: that's what I like to hear. Unfortunately he's gotta go for injections before he can go home and a bath and mom is fine to go home Jake wheels the baby for a bath then injections. He comes back to see Erika packing up everything Ja: I think our little man is hungry Er: are you hungry tydus Jake finishes packing while Erika feeds tydus Er: time to be burped. Jake can you change his nappy after Ja: sure and can I dress him as well Er: ok if you must Ja: yeyyyyyy Jake changes his nappy then dresses him in this

Ja: wanna go home tydus Jake straps him in his car seat then carries him out to the team ten van with Erika and puts him in the van and goes back to get the hospital bags for tydus and Erika Ja: right who's ready for home Er: meeeee They arrive home and go through the gates. They see blue balloons and it's a boy banners. Jake gets the car seat and carries it inside Ja: we're home Anthony and rocky come downstairs and Jake gets the baby out and hands it to them An: he's beautiful Jake. A beautiful Jerika baby Roc: yeah he is Ja: I hope you don't mind hearing crying in the middle of the night Roc: oh no not at all, babies do that so I'm ok with it
Next morning Jake is woken up at 2am to the sound of tydus crying. Ja: I'm coming tydus He puts on his tattered robe and goes to the baby's room and moves the Moses baskets in jerikas room Ja: tydus why are you crying buddy Jake picks him up and feels the weight of his nappy Ja: oh dear that must be horrible for you, let's put a fresh one on He lays him down on a changing mat and changes him Ja: That better Jake picks tydus up and takes him downstairs to make him a bottle. He sits down on the couch and feeds him. He nods off as he feeds him.
Next day Erika gets up to see the space next to her empty and the Moses basket empty. She panics and runs downstairs and sees Jake with tydus on the sofa like this

Er: Jake wake up Jake wakes up slowly and tydus wakes up too. Erika takes him for a feed Er: So What happened last night Ja: little prince started crying and I woke up and I changed him and fed him a bottle. Er: ok, I was thinking we could go out somewhere today like the baby shop for baby things Ja: ok Jake dresses tydus in this

Then they go to a range of different shops and buy a lot of things. Tydus is tired so they go home and go to bed
