Home. It's where we go every evening. It's where our hearts lie. We don't think much of it. We eat here, live here, grow our families here. We don't think much of it but over a million creators call seventy percent of the planet home.
The Ocean. The deep blue sea. This is home to millions of creators new and old. Discovered and unknown. It's where they eat, where they live, where they grow. Every year, over two hundred and sixty million tons of one-use plastic waste is dumped into their home. Our trash. The things we use every day with not but a thought. Battle rings, soda cans, straws. These things and much more circle the tides and destroy these creatures homes.
Sea Turtles choked by plastic bags. Sea lions tangled in plastic rings. Pelicans killed by digesting plastic caps. These animals have only tried to survive in this ever-changing world. It is up to us as a race of advanced beings to fix our mistakes. It only takes a single tipple to make a wave.
