To, You. May the world be blessed by the gift that you are.

August 25th, 2018

The image resurfaced each night after the event like a continuous song on repeat. I could almost feel it. The blood rushing through my mouth, Jungkook's feather-like fingers slowly but surely tracing the back of my hand, up and down like a paint brush. His hair fell on my forehead, I would almost gasp but with all the willpower I had, I kept my mouth shut. He carefully pressed himself onto me, each nerve and cell almost jumping from my skin. My heart pumped faster than any car, faster than light, that's what it felt like. My eyes shut, with not a single word to be said. I thought our lips would meet in moments but his nose followed a trail of freckles on my cheek to my neck that was almost burning from his skin.
"You smell like dumplings today." My body lost it. I went from having weak knees to hard fists.
I cringed at the memory as Jungkook repeated the word dumplings over and over again. I kicked and fought with the blankets and pillows, my hair getting tangled everywhere.
"Serena! Come on, wake up. Let's play!" My eyes tried to focus and once they did, I saw the biggest smile in the world with well-combed hair. Ho-Seok was holding a cup of coffee for me. Bless him, I thought to myself.
"Ho-Seok, what are you doing here? How did you get here?" I said, taking a warm and sweet sip of the coffee.
"Nana is a fan, she let me in. Now come on, we have to go to training, let's not waste time!"
"We? Why we?"
"Because I want to stay in shape and eat twice as much KFC!"
These past few weeks, as I've gotten to meet and discuss safety plans with the group BTS I've also made a friendship with Ho-Seok. Strictly platonic. He was like a walking ball of sunshine and rainbows but in a genuine way.
Ho-Seok let me change and get ready before we left the room to be greeted by a grimy and yawning Minnie in her pyjamas that were thankfully NOT from H&M. As she walked closer to the showers, meaning closer to us, her eyes widened and her yawning stopped as her entire body did. She dropped the pillow to the ground, her body and expression changing from grogginess to astonishment. Minnie's hand barely made it to a point that was aimed at Ho-Seok, while shaking as if she was in the North Pole freezing to death.
"YoU..yOu! You're Jung Ho-Seok! Annyeonghaseyo!!!" Minnie bowed one, two, three times as her face crumpled and began crying.
"I'm so sorry, I'm a huge fan!" Ho- Seok laughed and embraced her, she lost it and ran to the showers as we laughed. Thankfully we made it to the kitchen without any other... surprises, but Ho-Seok was the one to be stunned this time. At the table in a professional manner, sat Jaein. Today her hair was in a sleek bun. She looked like a French woman. Red lips, a dotted scarf and a pantsuit. Jaein raised her eyes, the slightest shock creeping onto her face. She quickly got up from her chair and bowed. Ho-Seok did a long bow to her and stood straight with the most glorious smile.
"Is this your boyfriend, Serena?" Wait, she doesn't know who he is?
"No, but I will be yours," This was meant as a joke but clearly Jaein didn't understand and blushed. Wow, I didn't know she could do that.
Ho-Seok and I made it to training. My instructor Miss Shin Ji Ho told me to teach him a few basic moves, such as an attack from the ground or hand grab. We went to more advanced moves like circular punches. Ho-Seok did little funny dances in between breaks and fights, trying to catch me off guard. We laughed and joked together while Miss Ji Ho gave us firm and annoyed looks but we saw her hidden smiles.
"That girl at the table, she's your roommate, right?"

"Yeah, why? Are you interested?" I smirked at him.
 "She's beautiful. What's her name?"
"You can ask her that yourself,"
  "Serena!!!" He whined.

I once again found myself at Mr. Shi Yung Gi's office giving an interview or update as he would put it. Each time I came to him, he became less intense and intimidating while keeping his professional aura. I told him that studies were going well, he did a little conversation test in Korean and saw that I was making swift progress and complimented my clean jeans. It was an inside joke from when I came in muddy jeans and to which I cringed at.
"I'd like you to keep a personal eye on everyone close to members of BTS as they are one of the few people who know where the necklace is. As you know, they are the hosts of that event and will present the necklace so they have information to where it is kept, but in the past 6 months there have been 3 auctions bidding similarly priced jewellery and they have been stolen. The police are doing what they can but they still haven't found anything. So please, keep an eye out for anyone suspicious or who question the young men, because you never know what may happen." I wholeheartedly agreed but something sent a cool chill down my spine, maybe it was Mr. Shi's glare or the thought of the boys being in danger.
