Starting Our Family

Chapter 5

After the wonderful start to the day we just shared, we took a shower together. Just a shower. Of course we both took time to love and hold and kiss each other but we also washed each other's bodies and hair. Loving the intimacy of these moments when we can spend time exploring each other over and over again. It's not even about sex, just the love and emotion we have for one another. After a while we notice that are fingers were starting to prune up so we decided to end our shower. Stepping out and towel drying off we head back to the bedroom and start looking for the clothes we wanted to wear for the day. We both have to work so I go with my usual black jeans a nice green button down shirt, and of course by favorite boots. Regina just looks over at me and smirks. I ask her what the smirk is about so she says " would it kill you to actually wear the sheriffs uniform once in a while, maybe set an example for the deputies?" I chuckled and shrugged my shoulders and said " I'm not really the uniform type, you know that. Besides you hired me for my protective skills not because of how sexy I look in the uniform, isn't that correct madam Mayor ?"  Regina just smiled brightly and continued getting her clothes. She decided on a short black pencil skirt with a white button down that shows me the perfect amount of her cleavage. I have to bite my lip and not think to much about what she's wearing now or we will never make it to work. We just continue with our morning rituals of getting ready then we go down stairs for a quick breakfast and some coffee. We grab out stuff and leave the house together. We get in my police car and head towards the center of town. I pull up to city hall to drop Regina off. We lean in to kiss goodbye and wish each other a good day, and promise to speak soon. I watch her walk into the building before I head off to the station to start my day.
