So I'm here to explain a few things. Lets start with chapter 8. I didn't do to good a job with introducing Jack and his family. They were just randomly shoved into the story with out an explanation. Jack was a character created by my friend. I already mentioned the members in Jack's family, but I forgot to mention how he is related to the Highlander family. Jack is Aidan's brother and Jayce is Aidan's brother in law. He (Jack) has fertility issues because he was in a car accident when he was 12. I didn't mention the fact in chapter 8 because It seemed like a thing that shouldn't be randomly mentioned, so I decide to put it in this chapter since the goal in this chapter is to clear things up. I hope to include Jack and Jayce in the family reunion arc. Next let's address the cringe fest that was chapter 10. Let's be honest, that chapter was SUPER rushed. It was also random. I don't feel like rewriting it, so I'll talk about it now. The whole dinosaur scene was cheesy, but it did happen in real life. The reason Jack was drunk was because A) Me and the person who designed Jack thought Jack walking up to Midoriya in a body con dress would be fucking hilarious. I'm sure that if I took the time to write the scene properly, it would be pretty funny. Also, I didn't put this in chapter 10, but the reason Jack was drunk was because he drank a water bottle thinking that it was filled with water, when it really was vodka.
