Harry's POV
Setting up the stage for tomorrow's concert didn't take as long as we boys had initially thought. We had anticipated lots of work to be put into the choreography of the stage, and where we are supposed to stand and when we are supposed to stand there, sound check, and vocals practice and all that jazz. It took about three hours, tops, and then we boys from One Direction had a laugh and a great time with the boys from Five Seconds of Summer, our mates and opening act. They really are great friends of ours, and amazing musicians, and in general just fantastic to share the tour life with.
It's weird seeing how all nine of us come from normal, working class families. We used to be unknown to the world. Now, just look at us. Living our dreams and making best friends on the way.
"Harry?" Ashton calls from the doorway. I glance up at him in response.
"Lou wants you for hair styling to see how it should look for tomorrow's show. You really should cut it, man!" He teases me.
I glare playfully at him and rip Niall's sock off his foot, since he put his feet in my lap. He protests with a 'hey!' but I just chuck his sock at Ash, smacking him right in the face. We all laugh, and I place Niall's feet on the couch and walk to the dressing room to meet with Lou. I know people want me to cut my hair, but that's exactly why I don't cut it. I'm not going to do what other people want me to do with MY HAIR. Like Liam did with his buzzcut.
Management didn't want him to do it, but after we lads corrupted the uptight Liam a bit, he went to be a little rebel and shaved it all off, anyways! Gotta love that boy, gotta love him.
On my way there, I spot a small, white, case type thing on the ground. It's a few feet away from the door to the dressing room. Curious, I bend over and pick it up. The label on the package tells me that they are contacts. Green contacts, to be specific.
My heart rate intensifies as I realize that the man who had the gun and freaked Niall and Louis out yesterday had a huge case full of green contacts in his hotel room. I stare at the wrapper in my hand, and turn it over. Peeling back the plastic, I see that the contacts are not in there; meaning that there is someone here wearing them.
I quickly look both ways, down the spacious concrete corridor, before moving into the dressing room, having seen nothing more out of the ordinary.
"Harry!" Lou says from her position in front of the mirror. "Like usual today?"
"Yeah, that would be great, Lou! Hey, where's Lux? Haven't seen the little angel all day!" I sit down in the black chair and watch her pull out Bumble and Bumble Hairspray, the only kind that can make my hair stay in place.
Lou waves her hand over her shoulder. "She's playing with the puppy dog stuffed animal Liam got her yesterday at the hotel gift shop! What a sweetheart he is!"
I turn around and see Lux playing on the floor with the brown puppy toy, making it walk around on the floor, using blubbery toddler talk to mimic a conversation going between the two. I love this little girl.
"Luxy, baby! Come here, I've missed you!" I open my arms and she giggles, clutching the
puppy to her chest before waddling quickly over to my, climbing up into my lap as Lou laughs and begins styling my 'difficult' hair.
"I miss you too, Harreh," The three year old giggles, throwing her small arms around my neck. I tease her by peppering her little face with kisses as she tries to shove me away, laughing the whole time.
